About this hotel
General information
The 27-storey St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort rises above a white-sand Atlantic beach, directly opposite the boutiques of the renowned Bal Harbour shopping district. The resort covers 3.6 hectares of oceanfront; the building is by Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership, while interiors by Yabu Pushelberg pay homage to Miami’s Art Deco and frame a collection of work by local and international artists.
Rooms with balconies face the ocean, butlers look after guests, and the restaurants BH Prime, Atlantikós and La Gourmandise are joined by The St. Regis Bar. There is a spa of about 1,300 m², two pools, one for adults only, Oceanfront Day Villas and nine event rooms totalling about 1,640 m², the largest the 635 m² Astor Ballroom; weddings are arranged. It is an address for discerning travellers and lovers of contemporary art.
Location
The hotel stands on the beach on Collins Avenue, opposite the Bal Harbour shops. South Beach is about 15 minutes to the south, downtown Miami about 20 minutes, Miami International Airport about 25 minutes and Fort Lauderdale International Airport about 35 minutes by car.
Spa
The Spa at St. Regis Bal Harbour covers about 1,300 m², with a wet area featuring a whirlpool, dry sauna and steam room, a relaxation lounge, separate women’s and men’s lounges and a double suite for couples. Facials, massages, body treatments and Ayurvedic therapies make use of fresh tropical ingredients; signatures include the Four Elements Couples Journey and the 24K Gold Wrap. The Ivy Beauty and Bubbles hair salon sits within the spa, and the St. Regis Athletic Club gym is equipped by Technogym.
Sports & leisure
The family Resort Pool is framed by palms and loungers, while the Tranquility Pool, with ocean views, a sundeck and whirlpool, is reserved for guests aged 18 and over. The 56 m² air-conditioned Oceanfront Day Villas have a lounge, bathroom, dining table and butler service. There is also the Technogym-equipped St. Regis Athletic Club, a Pilates studio by Feel Well Collective and bicycle hire.
For children
The family Resort Pool suits guests of every age, and children can join creative sessions: making seaside keepsakes, meeting gentle animals and painting a framed picture of their own.
