The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami

About this hotel

General information

The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami lies beside a private beach on Key Biscayne, a five-mile barrier island a few minutes from downtown Miami and South Beach. Its architecture takes its cue from the island’s nature, heritage and unhurried pace, and the newly designed rooms and suites with balconies, studios and residences with kitchens carry quiet references to the mangroves and shoreline.

The resort’s particular pride is the Cliff Drysdale Racquet Garden, with courts for tennis, padel and pickleball, clinics with resident coaches and private lessons. Around it are adult and family pools, a 24-hour fitness centre, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, the Ritz Kids programme and seven restaurants and bars. Twenty-six event spaces total about 3,440 m², among them the 940 m² Ritz-Carlton Ballroom and the Grand Lawn for gatherings outdoors; weddings are arranged.

Location

The hotel stands on the beach on the east shore of Key Biscayne, a few minutes’ drive from Bill Baggs Cape Florida park. South Beach is 24 km away, Miami International Airport 23 km and Fort Lauderdale International Airport 56 km.

Spa

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Key Biscayne has treatment rooms and couples’ suites, a full-service salon, separate women’s and men’s lounges with steam room and sauna, a whirlpool, the Journey Lounge, the Spa Sensory Garden and the Spa Sanctuaries. Its journeys draw on sound therapy, elemental rituals and whole-ingredient treatments inspired by Miami’s mix of cultures; the spa welcomes guests aged 18 and over.

Sports & leisure

There is an adult pool, a zero-entry family pool with a splash pad, a children’s pool and a whirlpool, with cabanas and dedicated service at both main pools. The Cliff Drysdale Racquet Garden has six clay tennis courts, three padel courts and four pickleball courts, with clinics and lessons. The oceanfront fitness centre is open around the clock to guests aged 18 and over, alongside a TREMBLE reformer studio, Pilates, yoga, cycling classes and personal training; watercraft can be hired, and a golf-cart outing leads to the lighthouse in Bill Baggs Cape Florida park. The par-72 Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne course is 5 km away.
