General information
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park sits between Hyde Park and Knightsbridge, one of London’s most fashionable neighbourhoods. Its striking architecture is matched by interiors from celebrated designers, generous rooms and suites, an award-winning spa and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, holder of two Michelin stars.
The hotel’s terraces look across the park, and at times onto the Household Cavalry riding past on its way to Buckingham Palace. Event spaces host up to 400 guests, among them a 243 m² ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, its own garden and a terrace facing Hyde Park. Weddings are arranged in-house, along with dedicated honeymoon programmes.
Location
The hotel stands in central London between Knightsbridge and Hyde Park, close to the Royal Albert Hall, the South Kensington museums, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and a few minutes’ walk from Knightsbridge Underground station. Heathrow is 24 km away and Gatwick 45 km.
Spa
The spa brings together the Heat Water Oasis — a vitality pool, sauna and amethyst steam room — a Bastien Gonzalez Pedi:Mani:Cure studio, a zen relaxation area with colour therapy and 15 treatment rooms, including a traditional Chinese medicine room and a spa suite with a hammam. Treatments draw on Eastern traditions and innovative Western techniques.
Sports & leisure
Guests have a 17-metre, two-lane indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness centre equipped by Technogym and Hyperice, and a Movementum studio for classes. The hotel also arranges excursions, including a flight over historic central London.

Dining ranges from haute cuisine to a tea salon:
- Dinner by Heston Blumenthal — two Michelin stars, traditional dishes reinterpreted in a modern key, Hyde Park views
- Hyde Park Garden — open-air garden terrace for warmer months
- The Aubrey — Japanese izakaya and bar with signature and omakase cocktails, wine, sake, small plates and evening DJs

Rooms
The hotel has 181 rooms: 141 guest rooms and 40 suites. Joyce Wang’s interiors blend art deco with the glamour of the early 20th century, and windows and balconies frame Hyde Park and historic London.
Each room has air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, B&W Bluetooth sound system, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, yoga mat, tea and coffee set (with a Nespresso machine in suites) and a pillow menu, plus a bath and/or shower, hairdryer and toiletries.
