One&Only The Palm

About this hotel

General information

One&Only The Palm opened in November 2010 on the shore of Palm Jumeirah. This intimate resort is made up of Moorish and Andalusian-style buildings set in lush gardens with fountains and pools, and its rooms and secluded villas pair Arabian interiors with modern technology.

A Guerlain spa with indoor pavilions and a garden, an 850 m² heated pool, three restaurants and two bars whose menus are overseen by three-Michelin-star chef Yannick Alléno, and a private marina set a calm, unhurried pace. For celebrations there is the spa courtyard for 100 guests, a pillar-free hall for 120, the terrace of 101 Dining Lounge and Marina and the overwater 101 Privé lounge bar.

Location

The resort sits on the shoreline of the man-made Palm Jumeirah island in Dubai.

Spa

Guerlain and One&Only created three signature spa journeys exclusively for this resort, and every treatment is tailored to the guest. Bastien Gonzalez’s Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio offers the French podiatrist’s signature hand and foot rituals, and a fitness centre completes the offer.

Sports & leisure

The heated 850 m² main pool is ringed by a sun terrace with loungers and six air-conditioned cabanas; an 18-metre adults-only pool adjoins the fitness centre, and there are tennis courts. Canoeing and paddleboarding are available on site, with motorised and other water sports at sister resort One&Only Royal Mirage. Emirates Golf Club and Montgomerie are a few minutes’ drive away, and guests can also go dune-bashing, camel riding or sandboarding, visit water parks or head out shopping.

For children

The Kids Only club entertains younger guests free of charge, and babysitting is available.

Restaurants & bars

Menus across the restaurants, bars and lounges are overseen by Yannick Alléno and span local and international cooking.

  • STAY — Yannick Alléno’s haute cuisine and a “Sweet Library” dessert menu created in conversation with the pastry chef
  • ZEST — all-day dining drawing on the Middle East, Asia and the West
  • 101 Dining Lounge and Marina — Mediterranean dishes and tapas over the water by the private marina, facing the Dubai Marina skyline
  • Lobby bar — for a quiet drink

In-room dining is available around the clock.

Swimming

The resort has its own maintained beach.
