General information
Beit Al Bahar — Arabic for “house by the sea” — is a cluster of villas tucked deep in a tropical garden within the Jumeirah Beach Hotel estate, a short walk from the Gulf. Interiors are distinctly Arabian: vaulted ceilings with timber beams, stained-glass windows, handmade furniture, Persian rugs, artworks and authentic artefacts. Each villa has a terrace with its own pool set in a manicured garden, and at the heart of the enclave a separate reception villa is styled as a traditional majlis.
Guests have the Premium Leisure Club with its open terrace and bar, the private Executive Pool, breakfast at Villa Beach and Café Wadi, and the restaurants, pools and sports facilities of the neighbouring resort. Weddings and honeymoon programmes can be arranged. It is a secluded retreat within easy reach of Dubai’s lively beach life.
Location
The villas lie in the Jumeirah Beach area, 15 km from central Dubai and 25 km from the international airport.
Spa
Villa guests use the Talise Spa, with two saunas, three steam rooms, a Jacuzzi, a small pool and massage rooms offering a range of massages, aromatherapy and reflexology.
Sports & leisure
Jumeirah Beach Hotel has five temperature-controlled pools covering 7,000 m²: one with a Jacuzzi, a family pool with a slide, a children’s pool with play features, a 25-metre sports pool and a large garden pool with grottoes and islets reserved for suite and villa guests. Pavilion Marina & Sports Club offers windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing and motor yacht charters, banana boats, deep-sea fishing, swimming lessons, yoga and fitness classes, along with a gym, squash courts, mini golf, a PADI dive centre and a tennis centre with seven floodlit courts. Sports equipment is available to hire.
For children
Sinbad’s Kids Club, a children’s pool with slides, a playroom, a computer room, an outdoor playground and children’s menus in the restaurants; babysitting on request. The Wild Wadi water park is next door.

A maintained sandy beach runs for 900 m and covers 36,000 m².
Rooms
There are 19 villas with Arabian interiors and terraces with private pools framed by the garden. Guests have their own check-in desk, privileges at the Premium Leisure Club, access to the Executive Pool, breakfast at Villa Beach and drinks and light bites throughout the day in the club lounges.
Villas have air conditioning, satellite TV, a telephone with voicemail, internet access, a fax, printer and copier, a safe, a minibar, an iron and ironing board, a bath, shower, hairdryer and exclusive toiletries.
One Bedroom Al Bahar Villa
A king-size bedroom, a living room, a gold-trimmed bathroom with a round tub and a furnished terrace with a small pool overlooking the garden or the Gulf; butler service. Sleeps three adults and a child, or one adult and three children.
Two Bedroom Al Bahar Villa
Two bedrooms (king-size and twin), two gold-trimmed bathrooms with round tubs, a living room and a terrace with a small pool facing the garden or the Gulf; butler service. Sleeps five adults and a child, or one adult and five children.
Three Bedroom Al Bahar Villa
Three bedrooms (two king-size, one twin), a living room and a furnished terrace with a small pool looking towards Burj Al Arab. Sleeps eight adults and two children, or two adults and eight children.
