General information
Curved like a breaking wave, Jumeirah Beach Hotel rises above a white beach on the Arabian Gulf and, together with the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab next door, forms Dubai’s best-known seafront pairing. Bold architecture meets stylish contemporary interiors, and the hotel has long been one of the city’s landmarks.
Its 599 rooms and suites include club rooms with extra privileges, alongside 19 villas with private pools. The resort holds eleven restaurants and bars, the Talise Spa, a sports club, five pools and clubs for children. A congress centre with the 1,500-guest Safinah Ballroom, the Meyana auditorium and the open-air Janat Al Bahar arena hosts large events, and weddings and honeymoon programmes can be arranged.
Location
The hotel sits on a private beach in the Jumeirah Beach area, 15 km from central Dubai and 22 km from the international airport.
Spa
Talise Spa has a hammam, sauna, beauty salon, relaxation areas including an open terrace facing Burj Al Arab, and 11 treatment rooms, one of them a couples’ suite. The menu runs from massage and spa rituals to cryotherapy and face and body treatments using 111Skin products.
Sports & leisure
The J Club fitness complex combines a gym with strength and cardio equipment and views of Burj Al Arab, an outdoor training area, a 25-metre lap pool and courts for tennis, padel and squash. In all there are five outdoor pools, among them an adults-only seawater infinity pool. Water sports, boat trips, evening shows and excursions are also on offer.
For children
There is a freshwater children’s pool, a family club and separate clubs for children and teenagers, with babysitting on request. The Wild Wadi water park, with its slides and rides, is next door.
