General information
Al Qasr is a palace on the Arabian Gulf built in the image of an old sheikh’s residence — latticed windows, colonnades and balconies set among lush gardens, palms, waterways and pools. It is part of Madinat Jumeirah, a resort complex conceived as an Arabian citadel where luxury meets centuries-old cultural tradition. Rooms are finished in marble, rich fabrics, carved wood and ornate plasterwork, with handcrafted furniture of antique character.
Guests have the run of more than 50 restaurants, cafés and bars across the complex, the Souk Madinat Jumeirah with 75 shops and a traditional bazaar, a 442-seat theatre and water taxis along the canals. Large events are served by a 1,900-seat conference hall, the Joharah and Murjaan ballrooms and the 4,500-capacity Madinat Arena, and weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged in-house. A business centre, limousines, car hire, laundry and dry cleaning are available.
Location
The hotel stands in the Jumeirah Beach area, 5 minutes’ drive from Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City and 25 minutes from Dubai International Airport.
Spa
Talise Spa is tucked into a lush garden. It has a sauna, steam room, small hot and cold plunge pools, hydrotherapy showers, a hydro-relaxation area, rest rooms, a gym, a yoga studio, a spa restaurant with a healthy menu, a beauty salon with manicure and pedicure, and 26 indoor and outdoor treatment rooms blending Western and Eastern approaches with natural products. Swimming lessons are held in the pool.
Sports & leisure
Besides a large outdoor pool, the Quay Health Club has two indoor pools (one 25 m), a gym, sauna, steam room, aerobics studio, two squash courts and a restaurant with a healthy menu. The beach water sports centre offers windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing and motor yacht hire, banana boats and ringos, and sports equipment can be hired. Golf outings are arranged, and the Wild Wadi waterpark next door is open to guests.
For children
Sinbad’s Kids Club welcomes children aged 1–12; there is a children’s pool and playground, children’s menus in the restaurants and babysitting on request.

The 294 rooms and suites have palatial Arabian interiors — marble, rich fabrics, carved wood, artworks and handcrafted antique-style furniture. Balconies look over the sea, the gardens and the resort, and every guest has access to the Wild Wadi waterpark.
