About this hotel
General information
Banyan Tree Dubai opened in November 2018 on Bluewaters, a man-made island off the Dubai coast. The hotel runs along its own half-kilometre beach, and its contemporary architecture and pared-back design sit naturally within the island’s forward-looking landscape.
Rooms face the sea or the gardens; restaurants recognised by the Michelin and Gault&Millau guides serve Chinese and Japanese cooking, and the Havana Social Club bar conjures 1920s Cuba. Three pools, a Banyan Tree Spa, water sports and a gym complete the picture. For events there are three meeting rooms, a 500-guest ballroom and outdoor spaces, and weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged on site. The Banyan Tree Gallery boutique, a beauty salon, limousine service and a concierge are on hand.
Location
The hotel stands on a private beach on Bluewaters Island, next to the Ain Dubai observation wheel and a few minutes’ drive from Dubai Marina Mall. Dubai International Airport is 40 km away, about half an hour by car, and Al Maktoum International 36 km.
Spa
Banyan Tree Spa offers face and body rituals rooted in Asian traditions and natural botanical products.
Sports & leisure
Three outdoor pools are temperature-controlled. The gym has modern equipment and a yoga studio, and guests can try water sports, diving, boat trips and fishing, or join entertainment programmes and excursions.
For children
A kids’ club caters for younger guests.
