About this hotel
General information
Atlantis The Royal Dubai opened in February 2023 on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. Its 43-storey tower is among the city’s boldest pieces of architecture, with indoor and outdoor spaces flowing into one another, shaped by leading architects, designers and artists. A 12 m steel droplet hangs in the lobby, 4,000 jellyfish drift in the aquarium around the Resonance bar, a cascade of fountains leads to a grand music-and-light fountain show, and the infinity pool at Cloud 22 sits 90 m above the ground.
Rooms with landscaped pools look over the Gulf and Dubai, 18 restaurants and bars are led by celebrated chefs, and the Awaken spa covers half a hectare. For events there are six meeting rooms, the Diamond Ballroom for up to 660 guests, lawns and terraces, and weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged in-house. A shopping gallery, business centre, helipad, limousines and a concierge complete the offer.
Location
The resort sits on the beach of man-made Palm Jumeirah, 35 minutes’ drive from Dubai International Airport, 40 minutes from Al Maktoum International and about 1.5 hours from Abu Dhabi’s airport.
Spa
Awaken Spa spans more than 5,000 m², with a 25 m indoor pool, the Hammam Sensorium with six hammams, a sauna, tepidarium, salt and snow rooms, the Alkemy beauty salon, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas and 17 treatment rooms, including a VIP suite and two rooms for hypnotherapy and post-workout recovery. Signature rituals include 24-carat gold treatments, and the Aeon clinic specialises in aesthetic and regenerative medicine.
Sports & leisure
Outdoor pools include two for adults — a sky pool on the 22nd floor and a beach club pool — as well as family and children’s pools. The gym is fitted with Technogym equipment, and the studio hosts yoga and meditation, including underwater sessions. There is a water sports centre, a nightclub, the fountain show with music and light, boat trips, evening entertainment with live music, a disco and excursions.
For children
Children and teenagers have their own and family pools, entertaining and educational programmes, children’s menus in the restaurants and babysitting on request. The wider Atlantis resort adds the 22.5-hectare Aquaventure waterpark, one of the world’s largest aquariums with an underwater-world museum home to 65,000 marine animals, the Wavehouse family entertainment centre and a dolphinarium with shows and dolphin swims.
