About this hotel
General information
The Hazelton Hotel is an independent boutique hotel in Yorkville, Toronto’s most fashionable neighbourhood, and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The interiors are by Yabu Pushelberg: green granite, polished wood, silver velvet, custom furniture and work by Canadian artists, with a hint of 1940s Hollywood glamour.
There are only 77 rooms and suites, all generously sized and each with a Juliet or walk-out balcony, a rarity in the city centre. Under one roof sit ONE Restaurant and its patio, Spa by Valmont with a pool, a 25-seat private cinema and event rooms. During the film festival season the hotel is a favourite address for screen stars.
Location
The hotel stands on the corner of Yorkville Avenue and Hazelton Avenue, among Yorkville’s designer boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Bay subway station is a five-minute walk, Koerner Hall six minutes, and the downtown business district a few minutes by car.
Spa
Spa by Valmont works with the Swiss anti-ageing skincare house Valmont. The menu runs to therapeutic massages, including deep tissue and hot shells, body treatments with the Hazelton signature scrub, Valmont facials, manicures and pedicures. Spa guests also use the indoor saltwater pool, steam rooms and fitness centre.
Sports & leisure
A 24-hour fitness centre is joined by the indoor saltwater pool and steam rooms, and personal training can be arranged. The 25-seat Norman Jewison Cinema, with professional projection and Dolby Digital sound, hosts private screenings. For meetings and receptions there are The Yorkville Room for up to 78, the Neil Young Room for 16 and the Executive Boardroom for 10, with Yorkville’s boutiques and galleries on the doorstep.

Swimming
The indoor saltwater pool belongs to Spa by Valmont and is open to guests from early morning until late evening.
Pets
Cats and dogs are welcome, up to three per room and each up to 23 kg; in public areas they stay on a lead or in a carrier.
Rooms
The 62 rooms and 15 suites average around 58 m² with 2.7 m ceilings. Each has custom furniture and original artwork, a bathroom in Galaxy green granite and a Juliet or walk-out balcony for fresh air.

Deluxe King Room
A king room with a Juliet balcony over the quiet Hazelton laneway. The granite bathroom has a deep soaking tub and a separate rainfall shower.
Deluxe King Balcony Room
A king bed, a plush ottoman and a granite bathroom with deep soaking tub. A private walk-out terrace looks onto the streets of Yorkville.
Luxury Two Queen Room
A spacious room with two queen beds, a seating area and a walk-in wardrobe at the quiet back of the hotel. Sleeps four, with interconnecting options.
Luxury King Room
A king bed, a separate seating area with a two-seater sofa and 4K TV, and a walk-in wardrobe. Bathroom with deep soaking tub and rainfall shower.
Luxury King Balcony Room
A king room with a walk-out balcony catching the sunrise over the city. Luxury furnishings and a granite bathroom.
Executive King Suite
A separate king bedroom and a living room with crescent sofa at the quiet back of the hotel. Granite bathroom with heated floor, tub, rainfall shower and double vanity.
Luxury King Suite
A suite with separate bedroom and living room at the front of the hotel, facing Yorkville Avenue. Granite bathroom with heated floor and double vanity.
Hazelton Signature Suite
A 42 m² windowed rotunda living room with dining for four and panoramic views of Hazelton and Yorkville Avenues, plus a king bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom opens onto a Juliet balcony; there is a powder room.
Avenue Signature Suite
A suite made for entertaining: a rotunda living room with panoramic windows, a separate dining area and a king bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. An interconnecting room can be added.
Bellair Suite
The largest one-bedroom suite, on the fourth floor: a 74 m² rotunda living room with dining for ten, a wet bar, a pantry and a walk-out balcony off both bedroom and living room with views over Yorkville. An interconnecting room is available.
