About this hotel
General information
The Reverie Saigon occupies the upper floors of a 39-storey tower in the very centre of Ho Chi Minh City, and its floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city and the Saigon River. The hotel was conceived as a showcase of Italian design and craftsmanship: furniture, lighting, mosaics and fabrics come from celebrated Italian houses, and the mood shifts from opulent classicism to pared-back modernism and playful romance. The grand lobby on the seventh floor, under a seven-metre vaulted ceiling, sets the tone with a monumental emerald-green clock and a five-metre Baroque sofa upholstered in purple ostrich leather.
There are 286 rooms and suites of 43 to 313 m², and below them, on floors 19–26, 89 residential suites with kitchens that can also be booked by the night. Suite guests have The Reverie Lounge on the top two floors, and the largest suites come with a private butler. The spa and fitness centre together cover 1,200 m², an outdoor pool sits on a sixth-floor terrace, and the hotel runs its own fleet of chauffeured cars.
Location
The hotel stands in District 1, the business and shopping heart of Ho Chi Minh City: the tower fronts Đồng Khởi, the city’s most fashionable shopping street, on one side and the main boulevard of the centre on the other, a short walk from the Saigon River. The hotel’s own fleet – from a Bentley Mulsanne and a Rolls-Royce Ghost to Mercedes-Benz and BMW cars – handles transfers, with a driver meeting guests as they leave the arrivals hall at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and escorting them to the check-in desk on departure.
Spa
The Spa at The Reverie Saigon spreads over the sixth and seventh floors, with 12 private treatment rooms lit by floor-to-ceiling windows, separate men’s and women’s areas with steam room and sauna, a beauty salon, a hair salon and a relaxation lounge. The menu draws on holistic Southeast Asian traditions and Western aromatherapy: a classic Vietnamese massage with cupping on the back, Thai massage with warm herbal compresses, lava-stone therapy, a synchronised four-hands massage, Ayurveda-inspired rituals and journeys by ILA, plus scrubs, wraps, facials and nail care. The heat and water facilities on their own are reserved for hotel guests and must be booked ahead. The spa is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.
Sports & leisure
The 120 m² fitness centre sits beside the pool on the sixth floor and is equipped with Technogym cardio machines; it is open from 6:00 to 22:00, with access outside those hours on request. Twice a week, sunrise yoga sessions for hotel guests take place on the pool terrace (booking required). The concierge team secures tables at the city’s restaurants, points the way to its boutiques and arranges excursions beyond Ho Chi Minh City, while the butler service is on call around the clock.
Restaurants & bars
The hotel’s restaurants span Cantonese, French and Italian cooking, and in-room dining runs around the clock:
- Long Triều – Cantonese restaurant on the fourth floor overlooking the boulevard: more than 50 kinds of dim sum, dried-seafood delicacies, Peking duck and suckling pig, in a room of jade, vermilion and gold with nine private dining rooms
- Lys – intimate restaurant of contemporary French cuisine with Italian touches and seasonal Vietnamese produce
- Café Cardinal – all-day restaurant on the sixth floor with an open kitchen and city views: buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinners of French and international dishes à la carte or as set menus, with desserts, imported cheeses and a daily afternoon tea
- The Long @ Times Square – street-level trattoria-style café whose 48-metre marble bar runs right through the building from one street to the other: Neapolitan pizza from a wood-fired oven, Italian and Asian dishes, cocktails and homemade gelato
- The Reverie Boutique – cakes, chocolates and gifts including Vietnamese lacquerware and silk on the ground floor, with a quiet café for breakfast, light lunches and coffee upstairs
- The Reverie Lounge – club lounge on floors 38–39 for suite guests, serving breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails
Swimming
An open-air deck on the sixth floor holds a 24-metre free-form pool lined with Italian mosaic and two plunge pools. An ozone system keeps the water as fresh and soft as a freshwater pool, music plays underwater, and an underwater light show begins every evening at 18:00. The pool is open from 6:00 to 22:00, with a lifeguard on duty.
Rooms
The 286 rooms and suites occupy floors 27–39, each category with a style of its own, from classical and romantic to contemporary; suites include access to The Reverie Lounge. A further 89 residential suites on floors 19–26 add fully equipped kitchens, washing machines, daily housekeeping, a dedicated entrance and a 24-hour reception desk.
Frette bed and bath linen, a marble bathroom with deep-soaking tub and separate rain shower, a TV with soundbar plus a second TV in the bathroom, Wi-Fi, a minibar replenished daily, a Nespresso machine, kettle and Dammann teas, a pillow menu, a safe, nightly turndown and 24-hour in-room dining.
Deluxe King
A bright, classically styled room in earthy and platinum tones with a king-size bed, a chaise longue by the window, a walk-through closet and a marble bathroom; city or river views. Sleeps two, with a rollaway bed for a child under 10 only.
Deluxe Twin
The same layout and finishes as the Deluxe King with two single beds instead; city or river views.
Grand Deluxe King
A corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides looking over the city and the Saigon River, a king-size bed with silk headboard, a leather chaise longue and a window-side tub. Sleeps two.
Grand Deluxe Twin
A larger corner room with two double beds, wrap-around city-view windows and a window-side tub. Sleeps two.
Panorama Deluxe Room
A room with windows wrapping around the corner of the building and city or river views, a king-size bed, a writing desk that doubles as a dining table, a leather chaise longue and a hand-painted landscape panel. Sleeps two.
Junior Suite
A suite in the spirit of an Italian salon: an open bedroom and sitting area, an entrance foyer, a semi-enclosed study with handcrafted Florentine furniture and a floral mosaic panel; city views and access to The Reverie Lounge.
Reverie Romance Suite
A romantic river-view suite with a king-size bed set against a broad panel of handwoven Venetian fabric, a semi-enclosed boudoir with silk-padded walls and a bathroom in red mosaic with a deep tub and a shower for two. Sleeps two.
Executive Suite by Provasi
A suite in classic European style with a living and dining room seating four, a separate bedroom with king-size bed, a powder room, a walk-through closet and a marble bathroom; city views and access to The Reverie Lounge.
