General information
The St. Regis Aspen Resort occupies a group of elegant buildings set against the mountains, a few steps from central Aspen and the ski lifts. The mood recalls America’s Gilded Age of the late 19th century, while the service is thoroughly contemporary, with concierge, butlers and a limousine service.
Rooms are contemporary in style and look out over the mountains. There is the Velvet Buck restaurant, the Mountain Social lounge bar, a poolside bar, a heated outdoor pool open around the clock and RAKxa Wellness Spa. Twenty-two event spaces add up to almost 2,800 m², including Aspen’s largest ballroom, the Grand Astor, and the open-air Fountain Courtyard for up to 800 guests; the hotel also arranges weddings.
Location
The hotel sits at the base of Aspen Mountain next to the town centre, about 5 km from Aspen/Pitkin County Airport, which a hotel shuttle serves. Buttermilk is about 10 minutes away, Aspen Highlands 12–15 minutes and Snowmass 20 minutes; all of the resort’s mountains are linked by a shared transport network.
Spa
RAKxa Wellness Spa, around 1,400 m², pairs Thai tradition with new technology: a steam room, cold plunge, hot tub, grotto, a fireside relaxation room and a lounge with oxygen stations. Treatments include 111SKIN facials, Thai-inspired rituals such as Sleep Well and a hot stone chakra massage, the Ammortal Chamber infrared pod and Aescape robotic massage. The spa is for guests aged 18 and over.
Sports & leisure
On site are a heated outdoor pool and hot tubs open around the clock and a 24-hour fitness centre with Technogym equipment and a class studio. In summer the concierge arranges guided hikes, bike routes, rafting on the Roaring Fork, rock climbing on Independence Pass, 4x4 trips, horse riding, paragliding off Aspen Mountain and hot-air ballooning, plus fly fishing and clay shooting with Aspen Outfitting Company; there are four tennis courts in the West End. Winter brings snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides and the Silver Circle ice rink next door.
For children
The concierge helps families plan their stay: ski lessons for children, sledging, snowmobile outings and horse-drawn carriage rides through town, with dinner or s’mores by the hotel’s fire pits in the evening.
Restaurants & bars
The venues are backed by 24-hour in-room dining, an alpine afternoon tea and the hotel’s own take on the St. Regis Bloody Mary, the Downhill Snapper.

Swimming
The heated outdoor pool is open year-round, 24 hours a day, with hot tubs, cabanas and the Pool Bar & Patio alongside, all facing Aspen Mountain.
Skiing
The hotel stands at the base of Aspen Mountain, with the resort’s three other mountains — Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk — within easy reach. The ski valet looks after ski and snowboard equipment and shares local knowledge of terrain and conditions.

Up to two pets are welcome per room.

The 179 rooms comprise 154 guest rooms, 22 spacious suites and three specialty suites — Silver Queen, The Snow Lodge and Paradis. Furniture is custom-made to designs by Rottet Studio, beds are dressed in Frette linen, bathrooms are in marble, and suite guests have St. Regis butler service.
Individually controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, safe, minibar, coffee and tea maker, iron and board, a work desk and evening turndown, plus a marble bathroom with double vanity, hairdryer, Frette robes and slippers.

Silver Queen Suite
A courtyard-facing suite with a king bedroom, a living room with baby grand piano and fireplace, a separate dining room, a full kitchen, a marble whirlpool bathroom and a guest powder room.
The Snow Lodge Suite
One of the three specialty suites: a king bedroom, separate living and dining rooms, a kitchen, a marble bathroom with whirlpool tub and a guest powder room.
Paradis Suite
A king bedroom, a living room with piano and fireplace, a separate dining room, a kitchen and two marble bathrooms; sleeps up to three.
