About this hotel
General information
Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa is built in the style of an alpine château at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, in the heart of Beaver Creek Village and right on the piste: skis go on at the door, with the ski school next door. Rooms have the feel of a modern mountain lodge, with wood trim and warm fabrics, and most have balconies facing the mountains.
The hotel is open all year. Guests have Exhale Spa, the largest spa in the Vail Valley, an outdoor pool with five hot tubs, the Brass Bear Bar in the lobby, restaurants and a café, and a conference centre of 1,800 m² with two halls of 777 m² and 208 m², three meeting rooms and a business centre. Weddings are arranged here too.
Location
The hotel is in Beaver Creek Village at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, about 30 minutes’ drive from Eagle County Regional Airport. Transfers can be arranged from there and from Denver International Airport.
Spa
Exhale Spa is the largest spa in the Vail Valley. At its heart is Aqua Sanitas, a five-step water ritual modelled on Roman baths: thermae pool, caldarium mineral pool, cascading rain shower, steam room and an aromatherapy tepidarium, with a sauna too. The menu covers massages, facials and body treatments, and the fitness centre runs barre, yoga, Pilates and HIIT classes.
Sports & leisure
On site are a heated outdoor pool with a sun deck, five hot tubs set into the mountainside and a fitness centre with classes; the seasonal ice rink is just outside the back doors. Winter brings downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing; the rest of the year, fly fishing, rafting, 4x4 trips, mountain biking, hiking, riding, tennis and golf. Bikes are available to hire.
For children
The hotel is next to the ski school, runs children’s programmes and can arrange babysitting. Children can also have an in-room camping night with a small tent, sleeping bags and a pretend campfire, and in winter the ice rink is on the doorstep.
Restaurants & bars
Dining runs from a restaurant with a terrace over the ski base to a grab-and-go café.
- 8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill — named after the ski base’s 8,100 ft elevation: breakfast and dinner from thoughtfully sourced produce and a heated patio over the slopes and valley
- Brass Bear Bar — the lobby bar, with floor-to-ceiling mountain views and the Vail Valley’s largest outdoor fire pit
- Fall Line Epicurean Market — coffee, grab-and-go bites, craft beer and wines
- Powder 8 Kitchen & Tap — a seasonal spot open in winter only
Swimming
The heated outdoor pool and sun deck are joined by five hot tubs set into the mountainside and bookable cabanas, with food and drinks served poolside.
Skiing
The hotel is ski-in/ski-out at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, next to the ski school, and has a ski storage room.
Pets
Up to two dogs of up to 32 kg each are welcome per room; they stay on a lead around the resort.
