Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

About this hotel

General information

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco sits in the heart of the city on Market Street, occupying 12 floors of a 42-storey tower, its floor-to-ceiling windows framing the skyline, the bay and the green expanse of Yerba Buena Gardens. Interiors by Meyer Davis take their cue from the bay’s fog and sea, with walnut and oak furniture set against steel and brass, and an art collection focused on Californian artists hangs throughout.

Alongside its restaurant and fitness club, the hotel has substantial event space — 1,395 m² in all, including a 647 m² ballroom, an open-air terrace and a business centre. Weddings are hosted here, with dedicated packages for newlyweds.

Location

The hotel stands on Market Street in the central SoMa district, directly across from Yerba Buena Gardens and 23 km from San Francisco International Airport.

Spa

The Spa at Equinox Sports Club, in the same building, offers face and body treatments including a signature hot stone massage, with a 25-metre pool alongside. Massages can also be booked in the room.

Sports & leisure

Guests have access to Equinox Sports Club: 11,800 m² of training floors and studios across three levels, a 25-metre lap pool and more than 110 group classes a week. The hotel also arranges cooking classes and city excursions.

For children

Families will find child-friendly room amenities, games, books and children’s DVDs, family programmes and excursions; babysitting is available on request.

Restaurants & bars

MKT Restaurant & Bar, designed by AvroKO, serves contemporary Californian cooking built on local farm produce, a considered wine list and signature cocktails, along with bar bites and spirit-free drinks. Private dining and in-room dining are also available.

Pets

Up to two pets per room are welcome free of charge with no weight limit, and bowls, a bed and a chew toy are provided on request. Outside the room they must be on a lead, they should not be left alone, and only service animals are allowed in MKT.
