General information
Grand Hotel Lviv is one of the city’s oldest hotels, set in a stately late-19th-century building on Svobody Avenue, right at the heart of the historic centre. Statues of Atlantes adorn the facade, the original handrails, doors and furniture have been carefully kept, and the Galicia stained-glass window lights the lobby. Period interiors sit comfortably alongside modern technology and five-star service.
There are 121 rooms, from snug standard doubles to a Presidential Suite with a fireplace and a broad terrace above the Old Town roofs. The Grand SoLie restaurant is known for a wine list of more than 500 labels, The Lobby Bar never closes, and Onsen Spa pairs a hydromassage pool with several saunas, salt and hay rooms and massage suites. For meetings and celebrations there is a conference hall for 180 guests, the VIP Lounge and a meeting room.
Location
The hotel stands at 13 Svobody Avenue, inside Lviv’s UNESCO-listed historic centre (the Old Town). Rynok Square with Lviv City Hall and the Lviv National Opera are each a two-minute walk away, and Lviv’s main railway station is about 4 km off. The hotel can arrange a transfer from the station in a premium car that seats up to six; a few city parking spaces by the entrance are taken on a first-come basis.
Spa
Onsen Spa combines a pool, a jacuzzi and a plunge pool with a generous heat circuit: infrared, Roman and Slavic saunas, a kraksen with hay-lined walls, a hay room and a salt room finished in Himalayan salt. Massages are chosen with the guest in the massage rooms; the Relax and Detox rituals combine massage, scrub, body wrap and facial care with Elemis products, and the Energy massage uses volcanic stones. Use of the spa is included in a stay, and non-residents can book a Spa Day Use.
Sports & leisure
The gym, fitted with AeroFit equipment and with its own changing room and shower, opens early in the morning and is included in a stay. Lviv itself is best explored on foot: Rynok Square and the City Hall tower, the Lviv National Opera, the Old Town lanes, High Castle hill and the coffee houses with their Lviv coffee and chocolate. In the hotel there are wine and whisky tastings and gastronomic evenings, piano and vocal music on weekend evenings, photo shoots in the historic interiors and festive room decoration on request.
Restaurants & bars
Grand SoLie restaurant cooks classic dishes with the chef’s own touch: mornings bring a buffet breakfast (also served in the room), and the restaurant hosts banquets, themed gastronomic evenings and tastings in which each course is matched with a wine. The list runs to more than 500 labels, rare vintages among them, with Italy, France and Spain given particular weight, and a sommelier helps with the choice. The Lobby Bar, with its natural-wood columns, is open around the clock for classic and signature cocktails, liqueurs, lemonades, tea, coffee and desserts. Room service also runs 24 hours.
Swimming
The Onsen Spa pool measures 10 × 5 m, is 1.3–1.8 m deep and has an underwater current, hydromassage seats and jet massage; a jacuzzi and a plunge pool sit alongside.

Rooms
The 121 rooms and suites pair a classic style with modern comforts: Standard and Superior rooms face the inner courtyard or the city, some with a balcony, while the suites add a separate living room, up to the Presidential Suite with its fireplace and terrace.
Rooms have climate control, a work area, a TV, a safe, a tea set or coffee machine, an iron and ironing board, free Wi-Fi, a pillow menu, bathrobes, a hairdryer and toiletries, plus laundry service and 24-hour room service.
Standard Double
A cosy room for two with a 160 cm double bed, a work area and a 43-inch TV, looking onto the inner courtyard. The bathroom has a shower or a bath, and adjoining rooms can be booked.
Standard Twin
A room for two with two 90 cm single beds, a work area and a courtyard view. The bathroom has a shower or a bath.
Superior Double
A roomier option with a 160 cm double bed, refined furniture and a courtyard view. The bathroom has a bath, and a folding bed can be added for a third guest.
Superior City View
A Superior room with a 160 cm double bed and windows onto the city. The bathroom has a bath, and a folding bed can be added for a third guest.
Superior Twin City View
A room with two 90 cm single beds, a balcony and a city view. The bathroom has a bath, and a folding bed can be added for a third guest.
Superior Double with Balcony and City View
The only room of its kind, with a 160 cm double bed, a coffee machine and a balcony overlooking central Lviv. The bathroom has a bath, and a folding bed can be added for a third guest.
Junior Suite
A two-room suite with a bedroom and a living room, separate climate zones and made-to-order natural-wood furniture, a king-size bed, two TVs, a coffee machine and a courtyard view. The bathroom has a bath; it sleeps up to three.
Suite
A suite with a king-size bedroom, a living room, a guest WC and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and bidet, facing the inner courtyard. Two TVs and a coffee machine; it sleeps up to three.
Panorama Suite
A suite with a living room and sofa, a dining area, a king-size bedroom and a balcony looking over old Lviv. Shower and bidet in the bathroom, a guest WC, two TVs, a coffee machine and a minibar; it sleeps up to three.
Presidential Suite
The hotel’s largest suite, with a living room, fireplace, dining area, king-size bedroom and a 100 m² open-air terrace with a seating area and views of the historic centre. The large bathroom has a separate bath, shower and bidet, plus a guest WC; it sleeps up to three.
