General information
Wymara Resort + Villas is made up of two parts: a beachfront resort of studios and suites on Grace Bay, and a collection of villas on the Turtle Tail peninsula along the south coast of Providenciales. The resort combines the scope of a larger hotel with the intimacy of a boutique one: the buildings stand a few steps from the pool, restaurants and sand, and a mosaic-tiled infinity pool looks out over the Caribbean Sea.
The villas occupy a 15-acre peninsula with its own beach and the Sunset Cove beach club, home to the first ocean pool in the region. Each villa has a dedicated villa manager, and a complimentary shuttle links the two sites. The property is a member of Leading Hotels of the World.
Location
The resort sits at the western end of Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, 10–14 minutes by car from the international airport. The villas at Turtle Tail are about 4 km from the resort and 15–20 minutes from the airport; a complimentary shuttle runs between the two.
Spa
The Spa at Wymara has three treatment rooms, including two couples’ suites, private shower gardens, a nail salon and a relaxation garden. Treatments use 111SKIN, a doctor-developed skin-rejuvenation line, and Wildflower Skincare Lab, made from organic flowers grown on the resort grounds. The menu covers facials, massage, prenatal massage and couples’ massage on the beach, alongside an open-air yoga pavilion, sound healing, meditation and Reiki. The villas have their own 111SKIN spa with two treatment rooms.
Sports & leisure
- A 24-hour fitness centre with Peloton and Technogym equipment.
- Yoga on Grace Bay Beach, SUP yoga, breathwork and sound therapy.
- Complimentary kayaks, paddle boards, a Hobie Cat sailboat and snorkelling gear.
- Diving, boat trips, fishing and island excursions arranged through the concierge.
- For villa guests: the Sunset Cove sports club, with tennis, basketball and pickleball courts, a bocce court, a 25 m lap pool, sauna, steam room and an open-air game room.
For children
The property presents itself as suitable for family stays. Sunset Cove beach has shallow water and a wide lawn, the Amuse villas have a water slide, and the open-air game room offers arcade games, billiards and ping-pong. The official site does not mention a children’s club.
Restaurants & bars
Four main venues operate on site, alongside weekly beach barbecues and private dining.
- Indigo Restaurant + Lounge — the flagship, led by Executive Chef Andrew Mirosch: Caribbean-inspired cooking built on fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients, indoors and outdoors; breakfast is served here too.
- Blue Water Bistro — a beachside Caribbean menu of seafood, salads, ceviche, wood-oven pizza and smoked brisket.
- Pink Bar — a beach bar on Grace Bay with frozen cocktails, light bites and a fire pit.
- Land + Sea — a waterfront restaurant at Sunset Cove serving seafood and grilled meats for lunch and dinner, with sunset views.
- Wymara Beach Barbecues — weekly evenings on the sand with live music, seafood and smoked brisket.
- Private dining and in-room dining.
Swimming
The resort fronts Grace Bay Beach, with white sand and clear water; loungers by the pool and on the beach are complimentary. At the centre is an infinity pool of about 650 m² with a hot tub and four island pods. Sunset Cove beach has shallow water and an ocean pool of about 40 m, a saltwater pool at the sea’s edge refreshed by the waves. The villas have private infinity pools, and the four- and five-bedroom villas add over-the-water swim platforms.
Rooms
The resort offers studios and suites in the oceanfront buildings and the central building, plus penthouses overlooking Grace Bay. At Turtle Tail, the villas range from one to six bedrooms and have private pools.
Studios and suites have a kitchenette or full kitchen, a Nespresso machine, a safe, blackout curtains, Frette linens and robes, Kohler rain showers, Aēsop toiletries, a television and complimentary Wi-Fi; a full American breakfast is served daily.
Garden Studio
A beach-level studio in the oceanfront building, with a walk-out terrace onto tropical gardens and glimpses of the sea. King bed, kitchenette and sitting area; up to two guests.
Pool View Studio
A studio in the central building, reached by stairs, with a private terrace over the pool. King bed, kitchenette and sitting area; up to two guests.
Ocean View Studio
A corner studio on the upper floors of the oceanfront buildings, with a terrace facing the ocean. King bed, kitchenette without a stove, desk and a café table for two; up to two guests.
Oceanfront Grand Studio
An oceanfront studio with no balcony but wide sliding windows that open to the sea breeze; the bathroom has a shower and a separate spa tub. Either a king bed with a sofa bed or two queen beds; up to four guests, or three with two queens.
Oceanfront Studio
A studio with a terrace overlooking the ocean; some units sit at beach level with a walk-out terrace to the dunes. King bed, kitchenette and sitting area; up to three guests.
Grand Deluxe Oceanfront Studio
A larger ground-floor studio in the oceanfront building, with a terrace facing the dunes and beach and easy access to the resort. King bed with a sofa bed, spa tub and shower; up to four guests.
One Bedroom Oceanfront Suite
A suite with a private bedroom behind sliding panels, an open kitchen flowing into the living and dining area, and a large balcony facing the Caribbean. Washer and dryer, separate tub and shower; up to three guests.
Two Bedroom Oceanfront Suite
An apartment-style suite with a full kitchen and a separate kitchenette, two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and at least one terrace. The second bedroom has a king or two queen beds and connects through a private foyer; up to five to six guests.
Three Bedroom Oceanfront Suite
A three-bedroom oceanfront suite with a king bed and en-suite bathroom in each bedroom. Kitchen with a stove top, dining for four, a living area with a sleeper sofa and at least two terraces.
Penthouse Studio
A top-floor studio with a large private balcony, an open-air hot tub and views of Grace Bay. King bed, kitchenette and a bathroom with a rain shower.
One Bedroom Penthouse Suite
A penthouse with panoramic windows and 180-degree views of Grace Bay Beach. Kitchen with a dining bar, a living room with a king sofa bed, a bedroom with separate rain shower and bath, and a terrace.
Three Bedroom Penthouse Suite
A three-bedroom penthouse with three and a half bathrooms, a full kitchen, a sweeping balcony and a terrace with a hot tub. Views of Grace Bay; up to seven guests.
One Bedroom Villas
A one-bedroom villa on the Turtle Tail hillside with an open plan, a private pool and views of Sunset Cove beach.
Four Bedroom Acua Villas
A four-bedroom villa with an oceanfront infinity pool, a shaded plunge pool with a waterfall, an open-air courtyard and an over-the-water swim platform. Guests use the Sunset Cove beach club.
Four Bedroom Amuse Villas
A four-bedroom villa equipped like the Acua, with the addition of a water slide and an over-the-water sun deck.
