General information
The Palms is an all-suite resort of 72 residences on twelve acres directly beside Grace Bay Beach, on the island of Providenciales. Most suites look out over the ocean or the landscaped gardens, and a serpentine pool by the sea forms the heart of the grounds.
Each residence is a self-contained space with a living area and a kitchen or kitchenette, so a stay feels closer to a seaside apartment than a conventional hotel room. Beyond the beach, the resort adds a large spa, a fitness centre, a tennis court, a children’s club and a courtyard of boutiques.
Location
The resort sits on Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Providenciales International Airport (PLS) is reached by taxi or rental car, and traffic keeps to the left.
Spa
The Palms Spa covers 25,000 square feet (over 2,300 m²) and draws on both Eastern and Western rituals. Several signature treatments were created exclusively for the resort: Zareeba, Mother of Pearl Scrub, Moonlight and Stars for couples, The Palms Healing Touch and Four Palms Restorative Massage, alongside an Ayurvedic menu. Robes and slippers are provided, and there is a lounge and relaxation area. Guests under 14 are not admitted beyond reception.
Sports & leisure
Water is the focus. The oceanfront pool is lined with sun pods and umbrellas, a hot tub island, chilled towels and attentive poolside and beachfront service. Non-motorised water sports are complimentary, including Hobie Cat sailboats, kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling gear.
On land there is a floodlit tennis court with a pro available by arrangement, resort bicycles for exploring Grace Bay and beyond, and a fitness centre with cardio, strength and core equipment. Yoga and Pilates classes run on a weekly schedule, and personal trainers can be booked. The concierge arranges excursions and day trips around the island.
For children
The complimentary Conch Kritters Club welcomes children aged 4 to 12 with half-day and full-day programmes, an indoor clubhouse and beach toys and floats for outdoor play. Babysitting can be arranged with 24 hours’ notice and cots are available for infants. Every suite has a kitchen for preparing children’s favourites, and the resort’s Spice market stocks snacks, drinks and sun care.
Restaurants & bars
Two restaurants, a breakfast courtyard and three bars share the grounds, along with several private dining formats.
- Parallel23 — Caribbean fusion at dinner, with a display kitchen and wood-burning oven, a wide terrace, an elegant dining room and a separate domed dining room outdoors
- Si Si Restaurante — traditional and contemporary Mexican flavours beside the oceanfront pool, serving lunch and dinner
- Breakfast Garden — complimentary breakfast in a tropical courtyard, with a hot and cold buffet, fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts and eggs made to order
- L’Attitude Bar — cocktails, aged rums and cognacs and evening tapas, next to Parallel23
- Si Si Bar — a beachside bar where lunch and snacks are brought to the lounger
- Pool bar — a swim-up bar with cocktails and light dishes
- Out of the Ordinary — beach dinners with a personal butler, a private chef in the suite, boxed lunches for excursions and in-suite dining
Swimming
The resort opens straight onto Grace Bay, a beach of fine white sand and turquoise water. Sea temperatures average 23–26 °C in winter and 28–29 °C in summer. In the grounds, the serpentine infinity pool beside the ocean forms the social centre, with a hot tub island, loungers and daybeds.
Rooms
All 72 residences are suites, ranging from the compact Junior Suite to penthouses of more than 300 m². The three-bedroom suites occupy the second to fourth floors and have ocean views.
Every suite has a king-size bed with custom hand-tufted linen, a bathroom with quality toiletries, high-speed Wi-Fi, coffee and espresso makers, robes, a safe and a private balcony or terrace; most also have a full kitchen and an in-suite washer-dryer.
Junior Suite
A king-size bedroom with a separate sitting area, sleeper sofa and kitchenette, opening onto a private balcony or terrace. Sleeps up to three.
One Bedroom Suite
One king-size bedroom, one and a half bathrooms, a large terrace with sun loungers and a living and dining room with a sleeper sofa. The full kitchen has professional Viking appliances; sleeps up to four.
Two Bedroom Suites
A master bedroom and a second bedroom, each with a king-size bed, two and a half bathrooms, two private balconies or terraces and a living and dining room. Full kitchen and washer-dryer; sleeps up to six.
Three Bedroom Suites
Three king-size bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, three terraces with sun loungers and a living and dining room. Ocean views from the second to the fourth floor; sleeps up to eight.
Ocean View Penthouses
Offered with one, two or three bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and its own Sun Suite with an outdoor shower; up to four private balconies and a gourmet kitchen complete the suite.
Ocean Front Penthouse Suite
An oceanfront penthouse with one, two or three bedrooms, up to three and a half bathrooms and a living and dining room. The master bedroom opens onto a private Sun Suite with an outdoor shower.
