Amanyara

About this hotel

General information

Amanyara is the Aman resort at Northwest Point, the remote north-western tip of Providenciales, set within an 18,000-acre nature reserve. Glass-walled pavilions under timber-shingled roofs stand among reflective ponds, coastal vegetation and a rocky ironshore, and most come with a private pool and a timber sun deck.

Stays are in two kinds of accommodation: pavilions with one or two bedrooms, and villas of three to six bedrooms, each with its own host and private chef. The layout favours seclusion, with a clubhouse, spa, courts and Beach Club on a property that borders Northwest Point Marine National Park.

Location

The resort sits at Northwest Point on the north-western edge of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, beside Northwest Point Marine National Park. Providenciales International Airport is about 25 minutes away by road, along a single track through the reserve.

Spa

Aman Spa has four treatment rooms, a relaxation pavilion, a pool and an open-air yoga sala. A fitness centre, Pilates studio and boxing studio sit alongside, and private yoga sessions or personal training can be arranged.

Sports & leisure
  • Technogym fitness centre, Pilates and boxing studios, and an outdoor yoga sala.
  • Four clay Har-Tru tennis courts, three floodlit Mondo padel courts, pickleball and multi-sport fields; the clubhouse adds billiards, shuffleboard and table tennis.
  • Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and Hobie Cat sailboats launched from the beach; snorkelling and diving on reefs five minutes away by boat.
  • Eco-tours through mangroves and to Frenchman’s Creek Nature Reserve, hiking and biking trails, private yacht charters and game fishing.
  • Kiteboarding at Long Bay Beach, with private lessons and guided safaris.
For children

The Nature Discovery Centre runs nature, creative arts and sports programmes for children aged five and over. The clubhouse has pitches for football, tennis, pickleball and basketball and a screening room for family films, and yoga and Pilates classes are tailored to young guests. The Two-Bedroom Pool Pavilion Suite, with a nanny’s room, and the villas suit families.

Restaurants & bars

Three venues on the property, with dining also served in villas, pavilions and on the beach.

  • The Restaurant — Asian-inspired menu with sushi, curries and breakfast classics; an air-conditioned pavilion, a terrace over a reflection pond and a courtyard.
  • The Beach Club — Mediterranean cooking on a dune above the beach: grilled seafood, salads and wood-fired pizzas.
  • The Bar — a circular pavilion under a high timber ceiling with a pool terrace, serving drinks and snacks through the day, and afternoon tea.
Swimming

A private white-sand beach of about half a mile, with loungers and shaded pavilions along the shore. Kayaks, paddleboards and Hobie Cats are complimentary. There is also a main pool with a pergola, and most pavilions and villas have a pool of their own.

Rooms

Nine pavilion categories of one or two bedrooms and eleven villas of three to six bedrooms. The architecture is glass, timber shingle and wooden decks, and villas are made up of separate bedroom pavilions arranged around a central living pavilion.

In each room

Pavilions have a king-size bed (some convertible to twins), a living area with reading chair and writing desk, a bathroom with freestanding tub, twin vanities and rain shower, a personal bar, safe and Wi-Fi; villas add a dedicated host, private chef and pool.
