General information
The St. Regis Istanbul sits in Nişantaşı, the city’s most polished neighbourhood, where designer boutiques, galleries and restaurants fill streets of Art Deco and Art Nouveau buildings. The hotel itself is a modernist building with a strong Art Deco accent, facing the greenery of Maçka Park. A private collection of contemporary art runs through the lobby, corridors, rooms and suites, with works by international artists and pioneers of Turkish contemporary art.
The defining feature is the signature St. Regis Butler Service in every room: unpacking and packing, two garments pressed free each day, and an e-butler reachable by email at any hour, even from across the city. The concierges wear the keys of Les Clefs d’Or. The hotel’s boutiques carry leading fashion houses, and a shopping butler can arrange private viewings and in-room fittings. Around this come Spago on the roof, St. Regis Brasserie with its terrace, and Iridium Spa with three pools and hammams.
Location
The hotel stands in Nişantaşı, in the Şişli district, directly opposite Maçka Park. Beyoğlu, Taksim Square and İstiklal Avenue are within walking distance and the Bosphorus is close by, while the historic peninsula with Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar is an easy drive. Sabiha Gökçen Airport is about 41 km away and Istanbul Airport about 43 km. There is no hotel shuttle, but a private car transfer can be arranged on request.
Spa
Iridium Spa is St. Regis’s own spa brand: a bronze doorway, candlelight, orchids and bonsai trees. It has seven treatment rooms, including a VIP room with a private hammam, a couples’ room and a Thai-themed room, plus three Turkish baths. Separate men’s and women’s changing areas have saunas and steam rooms, and a tea bar serves herbal and iced teas with fresh and dried fruit and nuts. The hotel also has a hair salon.
Sports & leisure
The Iridium Spa exercise room is free for guests, and personal trainers offer cross-training, yoga and stretching by appointment. The concierge books tee times at golf courses near Istanbul, among them Kemer Golf & Country Club, and arranges experiences: a two-hour private Bosphorus cruise on a motor yacht past waterfront mansions, palaces and fortresses, a cooking lesson with a Turkish chef after a visit to a local market, a Grand Bazaar outing and a Sema ceremony of the whirling dervishes. Every evening the hotel sabers champagne, a St. Regis ritual, and complimentary personal stylists help with shopping in Nişantaşı’s boutiques.
For children
The concierge can book a babysitter in advance to look after children in the room, and arranges family outings to Miniaturk, a park of miniature models, and Forestanbul, a large outdoor adventure park. Maçka Park, across the street, has a playground.

Next to Iridium Spa are three indoor relaxation pools with marble walls, mosaic or marble floors, candlelight and a decorative waterfall, sharing a lounge with sofas.
