General information
Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum spreads across 60 hectares of hillside above Paradise Bay on the northern shore of the Bodrum peninsula. Terraced gardens of pine and olive step down to two private sandy beaches, and the Aegean is in view from almost everywhere. The buildings, clad in locally sourced olive-toned marble, sit low against the slope, while the interiors pair contemporary Turkish motifs with restrained Oriental touches, natural wood and floor-to-ceiling glass.
The resort counts 59 rooms of 72 m² and more, 10 suites, 30 apartments with kitchens and 23 villas, each with its own pool. Around them are a 2,700 m² spa with hammams and an indoor pool, four outdoor pools, a water sports centre, tennis and padel courts, a kids’ club, an arcade of international and Turkish designer boutiques, and a run of restaurants on the beach and above the bay, from Aegean seafood and Greek cooking to Cantonese and Japanese robata.
Location
The resort lies near the village of Gölköy, on Paradise Bay on the northern side of the Bodrum peninsula. Türkbükü is about 10 minutes away by car, Yalıkavak Marina 25–30 minutes, Bodrum Castle and the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus 30–35 minutes, and Bodrum harbour and its windmills 35–40 minutes. Milas–Bodrum Airport is around 45 minutes by taxi or private transfer, which the hotel arranges on request; guests arriving by car have self-parking and valet parking.
Spa
The Spa covers 2,700 m² and draws on the healing traditions of the Orient as much as on Turkish bathing culture. It has six treatment rooms, including a couples’ suite, three beauty rooms and six private outdoor cabanas, hammams with separate scrub rooms, a sauna, a vitality pool and an indoor swimming pool with loungers. The menu runs from the traditional hammam to holistic therapies, pregnancy treatments and personalised wellness programmes, with Hypervolt percussion massage and Normatec compression for recovery, also available in-room. A hair salon sits on the spa floor, and the products used in treatments are sold in the spa boutique. The spa is open to guests from 18, the fitness centre from 16.
Sports & leisure
The 24-hour fitness centre is equipped by Technogym, with personal trainers for strength and cardio work, yoga, meditation, boxing and kickboxing, and swimming lessons for children and adults. In the gardens above the bay are three tennis and three padel courts, playable by day and in the evening, with rackets on request, private lessons, group sessions and junior camps. A beach volleyball court sits beside Blue Beach, and a jogging path circles Paradise Bay. The water sports centre offers scuba diving, paddleboarding, canoeing, water-skiing, seabobs, parasailing, jet skis and surfing. The hotel also arranges traditional gulet trips to hidden coves for swimming and snorkelling, helicopter tours and rounds on a natural 9- or 18-hole golf course in Bodrum, with transport.
For children
The kids’ club runs daily for children up to 12, the youngest joining with a parent: its programme, devised with Gymboree, mixes sand and nature play, music, active games and crafts on the beach, indoors and outdoors. In the art studio children work with clay, acrylics and oils, paint silk, hats and bags, and make jewellery, candles and lampshades, with cooking classes, face painting and film screenings besides. Daytime babysitting is available. Next to the Pool Bar & Restaurant are a family pool with a play area and a children’s dining corner, the spa has its own kids’ pool, and Sofra, Blue Beach Club & Bar and the Pool Bar & Restaurant all have children’s menus. Young players can join tennis camps, and families can share yoga sessions, mother-and-daughter or father-and-son spa programmes and in-room movie nights with popcorn.
Restaurants & bars
Restaurants, bars and pastry counters are spread between the beach and the hillside above the bay; most open in season.

Swimming
The resort has two private sandy beaches: Blue Beach, the main one, with loungers, private cabanas and a bar, and the beach of the Gigi Bodrum beach club. Four outdoor pools, including a children’s pool and a family pool with a play area, are open in season, and the spa adds an indoor pool and a second kids’ pool.
Rooms
59 rooms, 10 suites, 30 apartments and 23 villas, all with a balcony or terrace and most suites and villas with a private pool. They range from 72 m² to the 950 m² eight-bedroom villa; the residential apartments stand apart from the main building.
