General information
D Maris Bay sits on a pine-clad hillside above secluded Hızırşah Bay on the Datça peninsula, inside a protected nature reserve where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean. Olive groves, volcanic mountains and forest surround it; caracals and Eleonora's falcons live in the hills, loggerhead turtles swim off the shore and Mediterranean monk seals bask on the rocks.
The style is modern minimalism with an Eastern warmth — Italian marble, teak, travertine and parquet, with floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. What the resort is best known for is its six private beaches, each with its own mood, from an adults-only quiet beach to the La Guérite beach club with its sunset DJ sets. Add two pools, six restaurants, Mytha Spa, a kids' club and the hotel's own motor yacht. Pomegranates from the gardens find their way into signature dishes and cocktails.
Location
The hotel lies in Hızırşah Bay on the Datça peninsula, 35 km from Marmaris, which is also its postal address. Dalaman Airport is 130 km away, about two and a half hours by car; Milas–Bodrum Airport is 155 km, about three and a half hours. The hotel runs transfers in its own chauffeur-driven cars and vans, and an Airbus H145 helicopter flies guests from the airport to the hotel in 25 minutes.
Spa
Mytha Spa is built around water and Turkish tradition: a classic hammam ritual with exfoliation on the warm stone and an olive-oil finish, massages and treatments tailored to each guest, and multi-treatment journeys — the Mytha Signature Journey combines body brushing, a full-body massage and a facial with organic products. Facilities include a steam room, a sauna and an indoor pool, with a further treatment room right on Maris Beach. Open-air yoga and group meditation round out the programme.

Maris Kids Club is run with Worldwide Kids, whose experienced childcare staff plan a daily programme of arts and crafts, nature discovery, beach games, storytelling, music, treasure hunts and mindfulness. Booking a place ahead is recommended. The calm water of The Bay Beach is a short walk away. Young tennis players train with Lux Tennis coaches and play friendly tournaments through the season.

There are six restaurants, a pastry and ice-cream spot and eleven bars — from the Lobby Terrace Bar and Green Hill Bar to a bar on every beach — with in-room dining around the clock.

Swimming
Six private beaches linked by a boat shuttle, plus two pools. The Bay Beach is a broad white-sand family beach with snorkelling and the kids' club nearby; Zuma x Silence Beach is a quiet, music-free beach for guests aged 18 and over, with floating daybeds above the water; Maris Beach is palm-dotted, with private cabanas (one with a Jacuzzi) and a spa treatment room; Manos Beach is a small golden beach beside the Manos taverna; Hidden Beach is a private cabana on a secluded shore with personal service; and La Guérite Beach has palm-fringed sand, raffia-shaded loungers, white canopied daybeds and DJ sets. Visiting yachts can moor in the bay and take a shuttle boat ashore.

Five room categories, eleven suite types and a separate pool villa, nearly all with a balcony or terrace looking over the bay or the pine-covered volcanic mountains. Interiors use parquet, Italian marble, teak and travertine bathrooms.
