General information
Layana Resort & Spa is an intimate retreat on Koh Lanta Yai, tucked into tropical greenery beside a three-kilometre beach of white sand and clear Andaman Sea water. It brings together modern comfort, Thai cultural traditions and the island’s protected nature.
Rooms are styled in a contemporary Thai idiom, with balconies facing the sea, the gardens or the hills. The spa sits in a quiet corner of the garden, and the grounds also hold a large saltwater pool, a gym and a water sports centre, with boat trips on offer. A meeting room is available, and weddings and honeymoon programmes can be arranged.
Location
The resort lies on the west coast of Koh Lanta Yai in Krabi province, about 1 hour 15 minutes from Krabi International Airport. The hotel also runs its own boat to Krabi.
Spa
The spa has a hydrotherapy pool, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and several treatment rooms. The menu covers a range of massage styles and face and body treatments using natural products.
Sports & leisure
Guests can swim in the large saltwater pool, train in the modern gym with personalised programmes, and join yoga and meditation sessions. A water sports centre, boat trips and island excursions complete the picture.
Restaurants & bars
Dining centres on SeaSky, which serves modern Thai and light Mediterranean cuisine. Sundowners, a bar and lounge overlooking the beach, is the place for an evening cocktail, while White serves drinks and light snacks.
Swimming
The resort fronts a well-kept sandy beach three kilometres long.

Rooms are decorated in contemporary Thai style with natural wood, comfortable furniture and refined details, and balconies look out over the sea, gardens and hills.
