General information
Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort occupies a quiet corner of Bophut Bay, with a private sandy beach and the calm water of the Gulf of Thailand. Its buildings follow traditional Thai lines, and the tropical garden around them was designed by Bill Bensley. Room interiors pick up the same theme, and balconies and terraces look onto greenery or the bay.
The resort suits different paces of holiday: restaurants and bars, a large panoramic pool, a water sports centre, fitness studio, spa and kids’ club, plus programmes introducing Thai culture and traditions. Weddings are held in both Western and Thai style, honeymoon programmes are available, and conference rooms, a ballroom and a business centre serve events.
Location
The resort sits on the beach at Bophut on Koh Samui’s north coast, five minutes by car from the fishing village and 15 minutes from the international airport.
Spa
The spa has several treatment rooms offering face and body treatments with natural products, wellness programmes and a range of massage techniques.
Sports & leisure
A large outdoor pool is complemented by a gym and a water sports centre with equipment. Yoga, Muay Thai lessons, boat trips, diving, fishing and excursions are all on offer.
For children
The kids’ club keeps younger guests busy with a wide range of activities.
Restaurants & bars
There are three places to eat:

- Tan — beach lounge with Mediterranean and Asian dishes and a broad drinks list
- Thin Tai — fresh seafood and Thai specialities
Private dinners can be set up on the beach or in the garden, and in-room dining is available.

The resort has a private sandy beach with full facilities.

Rooms are decorated in a contemporary southern Thai style with local artwork and silk fabrics, and balconies or terraces face the tropical garden or the Gulf of Thailand.
