Amatara Wellness Resort occupies a quiet corner of Phuket on Cape Panwa, where tropical gardens run down to a private beach and every room’s balcony looks out over the Andaman Sea. Wellbeing is the focus: spa care, movement and healthy food shape the stay.
Guests choose between spacious suites and villas with private pools. The grounds hold a large outdoor pool, a spa, a water sports centre, a kids’ club and several restaurants and bars. Location
The resort lies on Phuket’s south-east coast, beside a private beach on Cape Panwa. Phuket Town is 15 minutes by car, Patong 30 minutes and the international airport about 45 minutes.
Spa
The spa has several treatment rooms, a hammam, an infrared sauna and a steam room. Its menu covers face and body treatments and a range of massage techniques, along with therapeutic exercise classes.
Sports & leisure
Beyond the outdoor pool and the well-equipped gym, guests can try Muay Thai, Pilates, yoga, tai chi, aqua aerobics, personal training and beach sports. Water sports and tennis equipment is available to hire, and boat trips and excursions can be arranged.
