General information
Amanpuri occupies a private peninsula on Phuket’s west coast, where dense tropical growth falls in gentle terraces to a white beach and the turquoise Andaman Sea. Built in traditional Thai style, the resort is an ensemble of graceful pavilions and villas with private pools, where luxury comes quietly and in step with the island’s nature.
Restaurants serve Asian and Western cuisine, the bars look out to sea, and the spa pairs exclusive treatments with wellness programmes. Days can be filled with water sports, diving, boat trips and excursions, and children and teenagers have their own programmes. Services include a concierge, a boutique, a meeting room and outdoor event spaces, and the resort arranges weddings and honeymoon programmes.
Location
The resort sits on a private peninsula on Phuket’s west coast, next to Pansea Beach and about 30 minutes by car from Phuket International Airport.
Spa
The spa, with several treatment rooms, draws on Asian traditions, traditional Chinese medicine and modern innovative techniques. Alongside massages and face and body treatments, it offers a hydrotherapy bath, a Vichy shower, a steam room, an infrared sauna and a Jacuzzi.
Sports & leisure
Facilities include outdoor pools, a modern gym, a Muay Thai ring, a yoga and meditation studio and four floodlit tennis courts. The water sports and dive centre runs boat trips, while wellness courses, entertainment and excursions round out the stay.
For children
Young guests have a choice of entertaining, creative and educational programmes, and babysitting is available on request.

The resort has two sandy beaches.
