General information
Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues was the first hotel in Geneva: its classical façade rose on the banks of the Rhône in 1834 and quickly became a city landmark. It stands on Quai des Bergues, a few steps from the business district, the Old Town and the main shopping streets and squares.
The interiors evoke the early nineteenth century — pale-wood furniture, antique clocks, grand chandeliers, painted ceilings and columns, with careful lighting and colour giving each room and salon its own character. Windows look out over Lake Geneva, a quiet inner courtyard and the city. There are two restaurants and a bar, a spa and fitness centre with wellness programmes drawing on ancient Eastern and Western practices, rooms for meetings and celebrations, a business centre and an on-call doctor, and the team can arrange weddings.
Location
The hotel lies in central Geneva on Quai des Bergues, 4.5 km or about 15 minutes by car from Geneva Cointrin International Airport and a 10-minute walk from Cornavin station.
Spa
The spa offers a broad menu of face and body treatments and wellness programmes based on ancient Eastern and Western methods, several massage techniques, beauty treatments and hairdressing, together with a hammam, steam bath and pool.
Sports & leisure
The well-equipped fitness centre hosts yoga, aqua aerobics and ski-conditioning sessions; beyond it there are runs along the lakeshore, water sports and a choice of excursions.

Dining takes in northern Italy and Japan, with a bar that looks out over the lake.
