General information
Beau-Rivage Palace rises from extensive parkland on the Lausanne waterfront, close to the city centre. The main building was completed in 1861 by the French architects Achille de La Harpe and Jean-Baptiste Bertolini, who set out to create a small masterpiece of flawless style. In 1908 a second palace was added, neo-Baroque with Art Deco touches, and the two are joined by a classical rotunda.
Grand salons with 18th-century murals, bronze chandeliers and sconces and stained glass sit alongside rooms whose design draws on different periods of French decorative art. Restaurants and bars, pools, a spa and a gym bring the tradition up to date. The hotel also has meeting rooms, a ballroom and boutiques, and hosts weddings with dedicated programmes for newlyweds.
Location
The hotel is in Lausanne, 35 minutes by car from Geneva International Airport and 2 hours from Zurich Airport.

The spa has several treatment rooms offering a wide range of face and body treatments and massage techniques, along with a hammam, sauna and pool.
