About this hotel
General information
Rosewood Villa Magna is a five-star hotel on Paseo de la Castellana, in the Barrio de Salamanca at the heart of Madrid. The building pays tribute to the former Anglada Palace, and its interiors take their cue from early 20th-century design: quiet luxury, marble and soft light, with the feel of a private residence rather than a large city hotel. An extensive art collection runs through the public spaces, from a textile-inspired installation by Jacky Puzey to pieces rooted in Spanish craft.
There are 154 keys — 101 rooms and 53 suites, including the rooftop Houses with terraces, city panoramas and a personal butler. Four venues carry the dining, led by Amós, where Cantabrian chef Jesús Sánchez cooks the produce of northern Spain, while Rosewood Kitchen Club evenings pair dinner with live music. Sense, A Rosewood Spa with its hydrotherapy circuit, a garden terrace and a warm welcome for dogs and cats complete the picture.
Location
The hotel stands at Paseo de la Castellana 22 in the Salamanca district, a neighbourhood of tree-lined avenues, ateliers, galleries and boutiques close to Calle Serrano. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 12 km away, about 20 minutes by car; Atocha station is 3 km (around 10 minutes) and Chamartín station 5 km (around 15 minutes). The hotel runs airport and station transfers in its own fleet — BMW 7 Series hybrids, Mercedes S-Class saloons and a Mercedes Viano minivan for up to seven — and offers round-the-clock valet parking with a hand car wash.
Spa
Sense, A Rosewood Spa has private treatment rooms, including a double suite, and a full hydrotherapy circuit with Finnish sauna, steam room, sensory shower, jacuzzi and relaxation room. The menu features La Prairie facial and body rituals, the Berber-inspired Mayrit Hammam Ritual, a Triple Collagen lifting facial massage and Sensorial Duet for two — hydrotherapy, an aromatherapy massage and a cocktail or mocktail at Tarde.O to finish. Alongside, the Claudia Di Paolo Hair Wellth Spa offers restorative hair rituals. The spa is reserved for guests aged 18 and over.

Cots are provided for babies up to three, and children aged 4–11 can have an extra bed or sofa bed in their parents' room where the category allows. The spa is for guests aged 18 and over.
Restaurants & bars
Four venues cover the day, from breakfast and fireside pastries to late cocktails, with in-room dining around the clock.

- Las Brasas de Castellana — traditional Spanish cooking around the grill, with an open kitchen, tall windows and a garden terrace; breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday brunch with a live band and Rosewood Kitchen Club evenings
- Tarde.O — cocktail bar with a classic counter, a contemporary terrace and gourmet bites; a guided tasting of three Negronis
- Flor y Nata — all-day café and patisserie with cakes and pastries made in-house, light meals and afternoon tea by the fire

Pets
Dogs and cats up to 15 kg are welcome, with a maximum of two per room and dedicated amenities waiting in the room. On a lead, pets may go anywhere in the hotel except the spa and the gym; guide dogs have access to all areas. The hotel also has a resident of its own, Lulu the dachshund.
Rooms
The 101 rooms and 53 suites are done in a calm residential style — a contemporary take on traditional Spanish design, with marble bathrooms and views over the city or Paseo de la Castellana.
