General information
The steel-and-glass tower of Hotel Arts Barcelona is one of the defining verticals of the city skyline, rising straight above the Mediterranean beside the Olympic Port, with Frank Gehry's golden Peix sculpture glinting in the gardens at its foot. Run as a Ritz-Carlton property, it calls itself an artistic urban resort: a place that pairs the pulse of a big city with the slower rhythm of a beach stay, and a boutique mood with a generous footprint.
The tower holds 432 rooms and suites, all with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sea, the city or both. Interiors draw on Catalan design — headboards by Lorena Canals, Nani Marquina rugs, handcrafted pieces by Rosa Cortiella — in a palette of sea, sunlight and mountains. The Club works as a hotel within the hotel, with its own lounge and concierge team. The building holds BREEAM, Biosphere and WELL certification and runs on fully renewable energy.
Location
The address is Marina 19–21, on the seafront by the Olympic Port, between the beach and Barcelona's cultural heart; a metro station is close by and Barceloneta beach lies about 0.8 km away. The Sagrada Família, Park Güell, the Gothic Quarter and La Boqueria market are all within easy reach. Barcelona–El Prat airport is about 20 km away; a private car transfer can be booked in advance, while Club and signature-suite guests are met with a private transfer.
Spa
Arts Wellness occupies the fourth floor and opens daily by appointment. The menu covers massages, including couples' treatments, facials using Alqvimia and Swiss Perfection products, body rituals, manicures and pedicures, as well as programmes that pair a massage with breakfast or lunch in the hotel's restaurants.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre is open around the clock, with Technogym cardio machines, ellipticals, exercise bikes, strength stations and free weights. In summer, life moves outdoors to Marina Coastal Club, an open-air space of more than 1,500 m² with two pools, a restaurant and live music. The hotel arranges private tours of Gaudí's buildings and day trips along the Costa Brava to Cadaqués and Figueres, points guests to golf courses around Barcelona, and holds La Hora del Vermut, a vermouth tasting for Club guests.
For children
Arts Kids, led by its mascot Frankie the Whale, runs daily from 11:00 to 22:00. Each child receives a playful questionnaire at check-in, with answers hidden around the hotel and an ice cream or milkshake as the prize, and finds balloons, sweets and small amenities waiting in the room. Restaurants offer a children's menu with a colouring book, the Club Lounge adds treats for younger guests, family activities are arranged on request and babysitting is available. Marina Family Pool is set aside for swimming together.

Dining runs from refined Mediterranean cooking to seafood by the pools and an easy all-day café:
- Enoteca Paco Pérez — chef Paco Pérez's gastronomic restaurant: Mediterranean cuisine built on produce from the sea, the farm and the mountains, a list of more than 700 wines, its own K22 wine and Terres de Llum olive oil
- Marina Coastal Food — coastal cooking with a chiringuito spirit on a terrace between the pools: seafood in the tapas tradition, made for sharing, with sea views
- Bites & Sips — coffee from Barcelona roaster Hidden Coffee Roasters and light dishes by day, cocktails with small plates in the evening
- Gehry — continental breakfast buffet
- Marina Family Pool — comfort food, salads, fresh-pressed juices and cocktails served to the loungers
In-room dining runs 24 hours, and the Club Lounge sets out five presentations a day, from breakfast to desserts.
Swimming
The hotel sits right on the seafront, and its gardens overlooking the Mediterranean hold two outdoor pools, open daily in summer, with towels provided. Marina Family Pool welcomes all ages and looks out over the sea and the Olympic Port; Gehry Pool is an adults-only infinity pool facing the Peix sculpture and the coastline. Barceloneta beach is about 0.8 km away.

Pets are not allowed; service animals are welcome free of charge.

Horizon Sea View Suite
A dual-aspect corner suite mid-tower with a sweeping Mediterranean panorama: a king-size bed facing the sea, a living area, a dressing and vanity area, an in-suite bar, a wellness corner and a bathroom with a deep soaking tub and rain shower.
Club Suite
A corner suite on an upper floor with a king-size bedroom. Stays include Club access.
The Mediterranean Suite
A one-bedroom suite on a high floor with a king-size bed and sea views. Stays include Club access.
The Arts Suite
A residence on the upper floors with 180-degree views of sea and city: lounge, dining area, kitchen, king-size bedroom, walk-in dressing room and a bathroom with a private sauna, with an adjoining room available for families. Stays include Club access and a return airport transfer.
