About this hotel
General information
Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort sits right above the Atlantic in La Caleta, within the resort area of Costa Adeje. Its architecture takes its cue from southern Morocco, and the buildings are wrapped in 18,000 m² of subtropical gardens holding three pools and sunbathing areas, many of them with sea views.
There are 284 rooms and suites, each with its own terrace or balcony. Food is a large part of the stay, with nine restaurants and bars ranging from Japanese cooking to a waterside beach-club restaurant and a tea room for pastries. Anantara Spa blends the healing traditions of East and West, and for active days there is a padel court, a gym open around the clock and yoga in the gardens. The resort belongs to Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, part of Minor Hotels.
Location
The resort stands on Calle La Enramada in La Caleta, in the municipality of Adeje on Tenerife’s south coast, directly on the oceanfront. Playa del Duque is 0.5 km away and the beaches of Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos are less than 6 km off. Tenerife South Airport is about 20 minutes by taxi, and a shuttle can be booked through the hotel. Guests have free open-air parking, a paid garage and electric-vehicle charging points, and several golf courses lie within a short drive.
Spa
Anantara Spa draws on Thai wellbeing traditions and Ayurveda. It has 12 treatment rooms, a covered hydrotherapy pool with a relaxation area, a sauna, a steam room, experience showers, cold and hot plunge pools, an open-air relaxation terrace and a beauty salon. Treatments use Elemis and the Spanish essential-oil brand Alqvimia. Signature rituals include Essentially Her Ritual, a 90-minute face and body treatment built on rose, jasmine and neroli, and Journey Through the Senses, a massage for two with island ingredients followed by brunch on the terrace. The spa is open to guests aged 16 and over.
Sports & leisure
The gym is open 24 hours with a full range of machines and free weights, and personal trainers are available on request. The padel court is built to professional tournament standard, and private lessons with a certified coach can be booked ahead. Yoga and Pilates sessions take place in the gardens, and live music plays at Alma Cocktail Bar every evening. Beyond the resort, guests head out for surfing, diving, boat trips to watch whales and dolphins in the open ocean, or a round of golf.

Nine restaurants and bars carry the day from breakfast to late evening, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices throughout.

On the front line above the ocean, the By the Ocean area offers double and single sunbeds with dedicated service (loungers there are rented). The nearest beach, Playa del Duque, is 0.5 km away.
