About this hotel
General information
Sir Anthony is a small five-star boutique hotel on Tenerife’s south coast, in Playa de las Américas. Though the coast around it is busy, the hotel turns inward, arranged around a green garden and a heated pool, with the ocean some 100 m away.
It is run as a calm, private address with its own restaurant, pool and The Oasis Wellness spa, while its guests also have the pools, restaurants, kids’ club and gym of the larger resort complex next door. Every room and suite has a terrace, and several come with a private pool or step straight out to the garden pool.
Location
The hotel stands on Avenida de las Américas in Playa de las Américas, in the municipality of Arona, facing Playa del Camisón. Tenerife South Airport is about 18 km away, roughly 20 minutes by car; Tenerife North Airport is about 80 km, around an hour’s drive. A private transfer from Tenerife South Airport can be arranged through the hotel, and guest parking is free, subject to availability.
Spa
The Oasis Wellness is a 180 m² spa with two treatment rooms, a couples’ room with its own jacuzzi, a beauty room and a relaxation lounge serving tea and fruit-infused water. The menu covers Natura Bissé facials and body treatments, massages including Ayurvedic Abhyanga, body rituals using Indiba radiofrequency technology and the signature The Oasis Signature rituals, plus private spa programmes for two with jacuzzi time. Treatments are by appointment and charged separately. The complex also has a thalasso spa with a seawater pool, sauna, Turkish bath and jacuzzi.
Sports & leisure
- Gym with Technogym equipment, free for Sir Anthony guests, with personal training and group classes: aqua gym, spinning, Pilates, circuit and toning sessions.
- The complex’s tennis court, bookable in advance at an extra charge.
- Beach volleyball court.
- Sun terrace by the pool with Balinese beds and loungers.
For children
Club Mare Kids, a 675 m² kids’ club, is open to Sir Anthony guests at no charge all year round. Children are grouped by age — Turtle (6 months to 3 years), Willy (4–7) and Sailor (8–12) — and the club has a ball pit, a cinema, a games room, an indoor climbing wall and a Splash water area.
Restaurants & bars
The hotel’s own restaurant is joined by the resort complex’s venues, open to guests according to their meal plan:
- Windsor Gastronomic Place — Mediterranean cooking built on seasonal produce, in a bright dining room and on a terrace over the garden and pool; breakfast, lunch and dinner, with Canarian Soul Night every Wednesday bringing Canarian dishes and live music
- Coal — contemporary steakhouse cooking over charcoal
- Diabolo — Venetian-style Italian: fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza and a wine list
- La Palapa Beach Club — Mediterranean food with a Caribbean touch facing Playa del Camisón, with Atlantic sunsets
- La Ventita — deli and wine shop for Canarian and gourmet produce, with a café and terrace for salads, sandwiches, pastries and coffee
The complex also has a buffet restaurant, themed restaurants and bars. Room service runs around the clock, and drinks and snacks can be ordered straight from the pool loungers.
Swimming
At the heart of the hotel is a heated outdoor pool, open all year, with three Balinese beds and loungers; pool towels and a beach bag are provided. Guests may also use the pools of the neighbouring resort complex, and Playa del Camisón beach is a few minutes’ walk away.
Pets
Pets are not accepted, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Rooms and suites come in eight categories, from the Superior Room to Deluxe Suites of more than 78 m²; every one has a terrace, and several add a private pool or direct access to the garden pool.
