General information
Royal Hideaway Corales Villas belongs to Barceló Hotel Group's Royal Hideaway luxury line and faces the Atlantic in Costa Adeje, on Tenerife's south coast. Its architecture blends into the landscape, the interiors pair natural materials and textures with quiet, simple forms, and the terraces look out over the ocean towards the island of La Gomera.
The hotel has 139 units: junior suites, some opening straight onto a shared pool, two-bedroom deluxe suites, and two- and three-bedroom villas with their own pools, kitchens and generous terraces. It is built for families and groups of friends, with clubs for children and teenagers, two restaurants – one devoted to Canarian signature cooking, the other to live fire – cocktail bars and its own wellness centre.
Location
The hotel stands on Calle Alcojora in Costa Adeje (Adeje municipality), next to the Golf Costa Adeje course and close to the sea, with several beaches within walking distance. La Caleta is 2.7 km away and served by a free shuttle for a few hours each afternoon; Playa del Duque is 5.6 km, the Los Gigantes cliffs 22 km and Teide National Park 40 km. Tenerife South Airport is 23 km away.
Spa
The hotel's wellness centre has a relaxation area, rooms for personalised treatments and a dry sauna. Rituals combine healing muds, clays and minerals with neuro-linguistic programming techniques, using Natura Bissé and Augustinus Bader products, and skin treatments are also offered with the LYMA laser.
Sports & leisure
A 24-hour gym is free for guests, and a yoga patio hosts group and private sessions. The We Happy programme for adults takes in yoga, Pilates and outdoor spinning, alongside activities around local food and Canarian culture. The 27-hole Golf Costa Adeje lies 50 m away, and guests have preferential booking terms there and at other courses in the south of the island, with rounds arranged by the Royal Concierge team.
Experiences arranged by the hotel include:
- a floating breakfast in the pool, a floating picnic in a private pool, and a terrace dinner with paella cooked in front of guests;
- a private vermouth tasting ending with a personal blend, and a wine tasting paired with a fluid-art session;
- a helicopter flight over the volcanoes and lava fields of Teide National Park, the cable car up Teide and 4x4 routes across the island;
- a boat trip along Costa Adeje to the Los Gigantes cliffs to see wild whales and dolphins at sea, a night sail for stargazing and a day aboard a yacht;
- diving off the island of El Hierro, sport fishing for blue marlin and a flyboard session.
For children
The Entre Tejados kids' club welcomes children aged 4–12, with activities grouped into themes – nature, crafts and making, music and acting, a science lab, mystery and magic, circus. Younger children join with an adult. Teenagers aged 13–17 have the Crescendo club, with a gaming zone and PlayStation, a music corner and outdoor spaces to meet.
Restaurants & bars
Both restaurants open in the evening and face the Atlantic, and 24-hour room service rounds out the choice.
- Cráter Identidad Canaria – signature cooking with a Canarian identity: each season the menu is devoted to one of the eight Canary Islands, its history, traditions and produce; stone and wood, an open kitchen, a terrace and a cellar centred on small Canarian winemakers.
- Bonfire – an à la carte restaurant on the first floor where everything is cooked over fire, wood, smoke and embers; open kitchen, a terrace over the ocean and a focus on Canary Islands wines.
- Materia Elemental Bar – a cocktail bar that reworks the classics with modern techniques.
- Materia Pool Bar & Snack – a relaxed poolside bar serving cocktails and creative snacks through the day.
Swimming
A main pool is complemented by pools for individual units: the Swim-Up junior suites open straight onto a shared pool, the deluxe suites have private pools 7 m long and the villas 8 m. The sea is close by, and several beaches on this stretch of coast can be reached on foot.

The 139 units share a calm contemporary design: 44 m² junior suites with sea views or pool access, two-bedroom deluxe suites with private pools, and two- and three-bedroom villas with 8 m pools.
