General information
Royal Garden Villas & Spa is an intimate all-villa hotel in Costa Adeje, on Tenerife's south coast, classed five-star Grand Luxury. Its twenty-eight free-standing villas sit in sub-tropical gardens on the Golf Costa Adeje course, with views over the Atlantic. Every villa has its own heated pool, a sun terrace and a fully equipped kitchen, so the stay combines the privacy of a house with the service of a small hotel.
The villas range from one to three bedrooms and sleep two to six, and each is decorated individually. Breakfast buffets and à la carte dinners are served at Jardín restaurant, while room service, a brunch on a floating tray and al fresco dinners come to the villas. Reception runs around the clock, a butler and late check-out can be arranged, and Golden Pond Spa has a thermal circuit and treatment rooms.
Location
The hotel lies on Calle Alcojora in Costa Adeje, within the Golf Costa Adeje course, sheltered between the mountains and the ocean. Tenerife South Airport is about 20 minutes away and the nearest beaches on the coast are under ten minutes by car. Airport transfers can be arranged on request, and guest parking is free.
Spa
Golden Pond Spa is a small spa with a Jacuzzi, a full thermal circuit, hydromassage showers, a Turkish bath, waterfalls, an ice fountain and waterbeds. Serenity Spa offers treatments with Alqvimia and Natura Bissé products: facials, body massages including a hot volcanic stone massage, and couples' rituals in a private space of their own.
Sports & leisure
There is a fitness centre and a squash court, and reception books tee times on the 27-hole Golf Costa Adeje course beside the villas. On its own sailing boat, the Royal Garden, the hotel runs trips from Puerto Colón: three hours out to deeper water along the coast with a swimming stop by a beach, or six hours further into the Atlantic with lunch on board and an anchorage below the Los Gigantes cliffs. Sea turtles, seabirds, whales and dolphins may be seen in the wild along the way, and deep-sea fishing trips of three or seven hours are offered too.
Restaurants & bars
Dining centres on one restaurant and two bars, with several meals brought to the villas:
- Jardín — buffet breakfasts and à la carte dinners of modern dishes with traditional flavours built on fresh produce, a tasting menu and a cellar of Canarian, Spanish and international wines, Champagne and cava
- Tucán Tucán — a bar for cocktails and drinks at the end of the day
- Pool Bar — drinks and light snacks by the main pool
Once a week an open-air dinner with live music is held beside the main pool. Room service draws on the restaurant menu, and the signature brunch arrives on a tray floating in the villa's own pool.
Swimming
Every villa has its own heated pool and a terrace with sunloungers, many with a Balinese bed as well. A main pool with a bar is shared by all guests. The hotel has no beach of its own; the nearest Costa Adeje beaches are under ten minutes by car.
Pets
Pets are not accepted, except where agreed with the management in advance; assistance dogs are welcome.

Twenty-eight one-, two- and three-bedroom villas of 140–370 m², each with a private heated pool, a terrace and a kitchen.
High-speed Wi-Fi, an electronic safe, a 2 × 2 m king-size bed, air conditioning, a drinks cabinet (charged), a fully equipped kitchen with fridge and oven, a washing machine, an iron and board, toiletries and a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, a telephone and a television.
Duchess Villa
A one-bedroom villa with a king-size bed, a living and dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower and bath; the sunlounger terrace holds a 2.6 × 2.3 m heated pool. Sleeps two.
Gran Duchess Villa
A larger one-bedroom villa with a king-size bed, a living and dining room and a kitchen; its terrace has sunloungers, a Balinese bed and a 4.2 × 2.1 m heated pool. Sleeps two.
Princess Villa
A two-bedroom villa, one room with a king-size bed and one with twin beds, and two bathrooms with outdoor showers; a 2.25 × 5.5 m heated pool and a sunlounger terrace. Sleeps four.
Gran Princess Villa
A two-bedroom villa with two bathrooms and outdoor showers, a terrace with sunloungers and a Balinese bed, and a 2.5 × 4.5 m heated pool. Sleeps four.
Royal Princess Villa
A two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa with a large terrace, sunloungers, a Balinese bed and an elongated 7.17 × 2.7 m heated pool. Sleeps four.
Majestic Villa
A villa on two levels with a living and dining room, a kitchen and two bathrooms; a terrace with sunloungers and a Balinese bed, and a 4.1 × 2 m heated pool. Sleeps four.
Gran Majestic Villa
A two-level villa with two bedrooms and two bathrooms; the large terrace with hammocks, a Balinese bed and a 5.1 × 4.75 m heated pool looks out to the ocean. Sleeps four.
Royal Villa
A three-bedroom villa, one room with a king-size bed and two with twin beds, with bathrooms that have outdoor showers; a big sun terrace with a Balinese bed and a 2.4 × 3.6 m heated pool. Sleeps six.
Imperial Villa
A three-bedroom villa, one room with a king-size bed and two with twin beds, with outdoor showers; a terrace with sunloungers and a Balinese bed, and a 5.1 × 2.72 m heated pool. Sleeps six.
Queen Villa
A two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa with a vast terrace, sunloungers, a Balinese bed and a 3.63 × 5.3 m heated pool; an outdoor pavilion takes two more guests. Sleeps four, or six with the pavilion.
