General information
Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel is a five-star resort at Playa Paraíso, on the south-west coast of Tenerife. Its open architecture turns the buildings towards the Atlantic, with La Gomera on the horizon, and a lift takes guests straight down to a small cove at the foot of the hotel.
Rooms and suites come in seven categories, from doubles to the Presidential Suite, each with a balcony or terrace. The resort holds four restaurants and four bars, two infinity pools, the 1,800 m² Azules de Nivaria spa and RoniAventura, a children's adventure area with a water zone and a jungle zone. Room service runs around the clock and guests have free underground parking.
Location
The address is Avda. Adeje 300 in Playa Paraíso, municipality of Adeje, at the western end of the Costa Adeje resort area. A lift leads down to a small cove, and a promenade towards the nearest beach starts a few metres from the hotel. Golf Costa Adeje is 4 km away and Golf del Sur 14 km. Tenerife South Airport is 27 km away; private transfers are arranged through the hotel's reservations department.
Spa
Azules de Nivaria covers 1,800 m² and looks out over the Atlantic to La Gomera. The water circuit brings together a hydromassage pool with neck, body and foot jets, a thalasso pool and thalasso Jacuzzi, a flotarium of highly salted water for effortless floating, a cold plunge and a pebbled foot path. There are Roman baths, a Turkish bath, a Finnish sauna, a tepidarium with heated loungers and a lodarium for clay, mud and algae treatments, along with a Vichy shower, hot-stone beds, massage and beauty rooms, a private suite for couples or families with its own Jacuzzi, a relaxation area, a hair salon and a bar serving smoothies, light dishes and cava.

For children
RoniAventura is a children's adventure area in two parts. The water zone sits on a 'volcano island' with two pools, one for group games and one with four water slides (one for the youngest), a sunken ship and water jets. The dry zone is jungle-themed, with a climbing wall, rope bridges, slides and a zip line. The Mini Club, for ages 4–12, runs daily from 10:00 to 18:00 with workshops and games by age, and the Baby Club within it takes little ones from 10 months, booked 24 hours ahead, with cots for naps. A separate heated children's pool sits beside the main pool, and in school holidays Garoé sets out a children's buffet shaped like a pirate ship.
Restaurants & bars
Four restaurants and four bars span Spanish and international cooking, and room service is available around the clock.
- Garoé — international buffet on a broad sea-view terrace for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with live cooking and themed evenings several times a week
- Ahemón — poolside restaurant and bar with sea views, serving drinks and cocktails through the day

Swimming
Two spacious infinity pools face the ocean: one is heated all year to around 29 °C, the other is kept at natural temperature. Beside them are a separate heated children's pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi, and a rooftop solarium offers more privacy. Lifeguards watch over the pools during the day. A lift runs down to a small cove, and a promenade leads to the nearest beach.

Rooms
Seven categories of rooms and suites, from the Double Standard to the 105 m² Presidential Suite; every one has a balcony or terrace with loungers and a parasol, and connecting rooms are available.
Rooms have air conditioning, soundproofed windows, television, telephone, a desk, minibar, free safe, a capsule coffee machine and tea set, free Wi-Fi and a bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, bathrobes and slippers.
Double Standard
A room for two with twin beds or a double and a balcony or terrace with loungers and a parasol.
Double Sea View
A room for two with ocean views, twin beds or a double and a furnished balcony or terrace.
Double Top Floor
A room for two on the upper floors with ocean views, twin beds or a double and a balcony or terrace with loungers.
Superior Double Room
A room with side sea views or views over the sea and gardens, twin beds or a double, and a fold-away bed for a third guest, a child aged 2–12.
Junior Suite with Sea View
An ocean-view junior suite for four, either with a separate bedroom and a living room holding two extra beds for children or open-plan with a sofa bed; balcony or terrace with loungers.
Superior Suite
An ocean-view suite for four, with a bedroom with twin beds or a double, a living room with two fold-away beds and a furnished balcony or terrace.
Presidential Suite
An ocean-view suite in two layouts — a bedroom, a living room and two bathrooms, one with a whirlpool bath, or two bedrooms for four — with a terrace furnished with loungers and a parasol.
