Hacienda del Conde Meliá Collection Golf & Spa is a five-star, adults-only hotel (16 and over) in Buenavista del Norte, on the quiet north-western tip of Tenerife. It sits between the Atlantic and the Teno massif, with the Buenavista Golf course spread out beside it. Its architecture and interiors take their cue from the old Canarian hacienda estates, set among gardens and pools that face the ocean.
The hotel is part of The Meliá Collection and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. What defines it is a kitchen built on local seasonal produce, the ALQVIMIA Spa with its aromatherapy rituals, infinity pools and a quiet programme of restorative practices – sunrise greetings over the ocean, open-air meditation and a botanical path through aromatic herbs and banana trees. Location
The hotel lies in the municipality of Buenavista del Norte in north-west Tenerife, looking out over the Teno massif and the Atlantic. Buenavista Golf is 0.6 km away, the beach 1.6 km, and the airport 62 km by the hotel's own figure; airport transfers can be arranged at extra cost. Guests arriving by car have parking, including covered spaces, valet service and electric-car charging points.
Spa
ALQVIMIA Spa faces the Atlantic and builds its treatments around aromatherapy, essential oils and energy rituals. Facilities include a water circuit with hydrotherapy, hydromassage and a jacuzzi, a sauna and a solarium; the menu covers massages, scrubs, wraps and other body treatments (at extra cost). Access conditions for the water circuit are confirmed by the hotel.
Sports & leisure
The gym is equipped for cardio and strength training, and the hotel can arrange a personal trainer on request. Restorative practices include a sun salutation overlooking the Atlantic, open-air meditation, breathing sessions to the rhythm of the waves and yoga, while a botanical path through aromatic plants, fruit trees and banana trees introduces the produce of the local kitchen. Buenavista Golf, an 18-hole course with lakes and waterfalls between the mountains and the sea, suits players of every level, and golf lessons are available. The hotel offers bicycles and bike tours, walking tours and billiards, and through local guides arranges kayaking, boat hire and private winery visits.

Swimming
The heated outdoor pools, infinity pools among them, look over the ocean and the gardens, and one is shaped like a lake. The highlight is the Ocean’s Club pool, which follows the line of the lava cliff and seems to reach out over the sea. Loungers, parasols, Bali beds and towels are provided, and a lifeguard is on duty. The nearest beach is 1.6 km from the hotel.

Eight categories: the Premier Room and five versions of the Singular Junior Suite, all 55 m², plus two ocean-view suites of 96 and 114 m². Every one has its own terrace, and the interiors draw on the tradition of the Canarian haciendas.
