General information
Marbella Club grew out of Santa Margarita, the family finca that was turned into a club for friends — and with it the Costa del Sol became a playground for Europe’s elite. The hotel still sits right on the shore of the Golden Mile: white Andalusian buildings, patios with fountains and hand-painted tiles, olive, citrus and bougainvillea, with rooms, suites and villas scattered among them.
Next door, the Finca Ana María estate holds ten gardens reserved for resident guests — an acacia maze, a mandala-shaped kitchen garden with more than 300 fruit and vegetable varieties, a heritage tomato collection — together with an adults-only pool, the El Olivar restaurant and a herbal spa. A seawater Thalasso Spa, a kids’ club, the resort’s own golf club in Benahavís and an equestrian centre complete the picture. The hotel is open all year.
Location
The hotel stands on its own beach on the Golden Mile, between central Marbella and Puerto Banús, about 3 km from each. A private gate leads to the Paseo Marítimo promenade and the hotel pier. Málaga airport is about 45 minutes by road; the concierge arranges private transfers.
Spa
Thalassotherapy is at the heart of the Thalasso Spa. Its seawater pool has high-pressure underwater jets, swan-neck fountains and hydromassage beds, alongside saunas, steam rooms, a beauty salon and 12 treatment rooms. Rituals and treatments use Comfort Zone and Thalion products, and the wellness team and an in-house nutritionist tailor programmes. At Finca Ana María the Herbal Spa offers open-air rituals, and the hotel also has a Hair Spa & Beauty Studio and a barber shop.
Sports & leisure
Three pools — the natural seawater pool at the Beach Club, the Garden Pool at the centre of the resort and the Ana María pool for guests aged 16 and over — are heated to 27–29 °C all year. The gym has Technogym equipment, free weights and TRX, with personal trainers on hand; there is a Pilates studio with Reformers, yoga, aerial yoga and sessions on the Yoga Deck at Finca Ana María. The estate is also home to Europe’s first padel court, restored for play, with table tennis and foosball nearby.
Water sports, sailing trips and garden-to-table cooking experiences are on offer. Marbella Club Golf Resort and the Marbella Club Equestrian Centre lie about 20 minutes away in Benahavís, with a complimentary shuttle for guests who have booked a round or a lesson. Live music plays in the evenings.
For children
The Kids Club, in the heart of the finca, opens daily all year from 10:00 to 18:00 for ages 4–14; children aged 4–12 can stay on their own. Activities include sports, gardening, wildlife encounters, science experiments, perfume-making, cooking with the wellness chef, a dance studio, pottery and painting, plus canoeing and paddle-surfing on the shore. Supervised evening sessions run three times a week, babysitting can be booked, and every restaurant and the room service menu offer children’s dishes.
Restaurants & bars
Restaurants and bars are spread through the gardens and along the shore; every menu flags vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, and a dedicated wellness chef cooks healthy Mediterranean food.

Swimming
The hotel has its own sandy beach with the Beach Club, a seawater pool and MC Beach. Sun loungers are free for guests, Balinese day beds carry a charge in summer, and a private gate opens onto the promenade and pier.
Rooms
Rooms, suites, bungalows and villas are scattered across the finca’s gardens in five collections: Rooms & Suites, Unique Suites, Grand Suites, Villas & Bungalows and Grand Villas. Each has its own terrace or patio; a separate building above the Beach Club holds the sea-view rooms, and the villas come with private pools and a Villa Host.
Every room has air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a safe, a minibar, a Nespresso machine and a bathroom with bath and separate shower stocked with Votary products.

A single-floor villa with five bedrooms that can become treatment rooms, a large kitchen, a garden with barbecue, a pool and direct access to the Holistic Studio; it connects with Villa del Mar. For up to ten guests.
Villa Añil
A villa steps from the promenade and beach: five bedrooms, a spa area with sauna and Turkish bath, a treatment room, a gym, a cinema and games room, a garden with barbecue and a pool. For up to ten guests.
Villa del Mar
A beachfront villa with Andalusian patios, fountains and an art collection: six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a cinema, gym, sauna, hammam, pool and private access to the promenade. For up to twelve guests, with a 24-hour butler.
