About this hotel
General information
Signiel Seoul fills floors 76 to 101 of Lotte World Tower, one of the world’s tallest skyscrapers, in the Jamsil district south of the Han River. All 235 rooms sit high above the city behind panoramic windows, their quiet, elegant interiors dressed in Frette linen. The hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
Height and food set the tone. The 81st floor holds the French restaurant STAY, the Korean restaurant BICENA and the champagne bar BAR 81; the 79th has The Lounge, the Pastry Salon and Salon de Signiel, a library lounge for in-house guests aged 13 and over. Spa, pool, sauna and gym share floors 85 and 86, while the 76th floor has a ballroom for 250 guests and four smaller studios for meetings and weddings. The team is multilingual and the concierge speaks English.
Location
The hotel occupies Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, a busy business, shopping and cultural district of Seoul, a few minutes’ walk from Jamsil subway station (lines 2 and 8) and about ten minutes on foot from Seokchon Lake. By car, Gimpo Airport is about 50 minutes away and Incheon International Airport about 80 minutes; the KAL Limousine bus stops at the entrance, and KTX high-speed trains run to Seoul Station, with onward connections to Jamsil. The hotel runs no airport shuttle of its own; guest parking is free.
Spa
Retreat Signiel Spa on the 86th floor has six single treatment rooms and a couples’ suite with its own bubble tub, along with hydrotherapy vitality pools and thermal areas, a tea lounge and a resting lounge. Its facial and body programmes were developed with Les Nouvels of Switzerland and Bernard Cassière of France: signatures include the Diamond and Chocolate facials, aroma and slimming body rituals, and pre- and postnatal care. In the oil atelier, massage oils are matched to each guest’s condition and taste. One floor below, the sauna offers dry and wet rooms and a private lounge for guests aged 16 and over.
