General information
InterContinental Ljubljana is the tallest hotel in the Slovenian capital, a 20-storey glass tower whose upper floors look out over the city, Ljubljana Castle and the Alps beyond. Interiors are contemporary and restrained, bathrooms are finished in marble, and the culinary focus is B-Restaurant on the 20th floor, recognised by the Michelin Guide.
The hotel has 165 rooms and suites. An indoor pool overlooking Tivoli Park and a fitness centre with all-round views occupy the 18th floor, and there is also the Serenity SPA and the Bloom lobby lounge. The property holds Green Key certification and has done away with single-use plastic, while the concierge team puts together tailored routes around the city.
Location
The hotel stands on Slovenska cesta in central Ljubljana, beside Tivoli Park, with the Old Town, the Triple Bridge and the castle close at hand and Bled within easy reach for a day trip. Ljubljana railway station is nearby; the closest airport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik, reached by private transfer.
Spa
The Serenity SPA has a sauna and steam bath, with massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, neck reflexology and other beauty treatments.
Sports & leisure
The 18th-floor gym, with 360° views over Ljubljana, is equipped with cardio machines and free weights, and offers personal trainers, a relaxation area and a vitamin bar serving freshly squeezed juices. The heated indoor pool, with a whirlpool and loungers, is on the same floor. The concierge can arrange bespoke city tours, and Tivoli Park, the National Gallery, Ljubljana Castle and the Botanical Garden are all within reach.

Dining is split between the top floor and the lobby, and in-room dining runs around the clock.

Swimming
The heated indoor pool on the 18th floor looks over the greenery of Tivoli Park, with a whirlpool, loungers, towel service and poolside service.
Pets
Dogs up to 12 kg are welcome (larger dogs by arrangement with the reservations team); they may stay in the room only, and only guide dogs are allowed in the restaurant. A dog pillow, bowl and small toy are provided.
Rooms
The 165 contemporary rooms and suites all have city views: two room categories, Classic and Premium, and three types of suite up to the 155 m² Presidential Suite.
Every room has a king bed or twin beds, a work area, a marble bathroom with a soaking tub or walk-in shower, air conditioning, TV, coffee maker, safe, hairdryer, bath amenities and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Classic Rooms
A room with a king bed or two twin beds; depending on the room, on a high floor, with a freestanding tub or with a separate bath and walk-in shower.
Premium Rooms
A larger room with a king bed, two double beds or two twins; some are on high floors with a freestanding tub and lounge access.
Presidential Suite
The hotel’s largest suite, with a king bed, city views, a separate bath and walk-in shower, and lounge access.
Junior Suite
A suite with a king bed and a separate bath and walk-in shower; some are on high floors with mountain views.
One Bedroom Suite
A suite with a separate king-bedded bedroom, a freestanding tub and lounge access.
