General information
Constance Ephelia opened in 2009 in the green Ephelia valley on Mahé’s north-west coast. Its villas and buildings, made from natural materials, are spread across a whole peninsula between two beaches, their architecture mixing contemporary shapes with Seychellois motifs. Local legend holds that a fairy once blessed this stretch of coast.
This is a resort of real scale: several pools, a spa complex, tennis courts, a fitness centre, a water sports centre, a kids’ club and a conference centre. The restaurants cover local, Mediterranean and international cooking. Services include a pharmacy, beauty salons, boutiques, a guest lounge, Wi-Fi, laundry and even a helipad — and at the Seselwa bar, bare feet are perfectly acceptable.
Location
The resort occupies a peninsula in the Ephelia valley on Mahé’s north-west coast, next to Port Launay Marine National Park and 20 km from Seychelles International Airport.
Spa
The 7,000 m² spa sits in a tropical garden and has two parts. Spa de Constance Ephélia offers two pools (one thermal), a sauna, jacuzzi, a yoga and meditation pavilion, 14 treatment rooms and two beauty salons, with hot-stone, Thai and shiatsu massage and masks, scrubs and wraps using vanilla, aloe, coconut, citrus and green clay. Ymalia Spa, with three rooms, pairs Japanese healing rituals with Western techniques and uses the French natural range Ymalia; under-16s may visit with an adult. There is also a modern gym, with yoga on request.
Sports & leisure
There are four outdoor pools, including one for children, a squash court and a tennis court with coaching available. The beach offers diving, windsurfing, kayaking, catamarans, pedal boats and fishing, with equipment for hire. Five boutiques stock clothing, spa products and souvenirs.
For children
Rooms and villas are set up for families, and restaurants offer children’s menus. The club for ages 4–11 has a dining area, a playroom and a pool, with outdoor games and excursions. Babysitting is available on request.

- Cyann Bar — a terrace for Cuban cigars, aged rum, sake and whisky, with a sommelier
- Seselwa Bar — Creole music, beer and tropical cocktails
Swimming
The resort has two sandy beaches of its own, North Beach and South Beach.
Rooms
The resort has 310 rooms and villas, from Tropical Garden Rooms and suites to private-pool villas and a presidential villa. Interiors are contemporary with an ethnic touch, and picture windows and terraces look onto tropical gardens, the beach or the ocean.
Rooms have air conditioning, a ceiling fan, TV, Wi-Fi, an Apple Mac mini with CD/DVD player and iPod dock, telephone, safe, minibar, a bath with separate shower, a hairdryer and branded toiletries.
Junior Suite
A suite with a bedroom, a generous sitting area, a bathroom with bath and shower, and a furnished ocean-view terrace.
Senior Suite
A larger suite with an elegant bedroom, sitting area, bathroom with bath and shower, and a sunny ocean-view terrace.
