About this hotel
General information
A compact city hotel built from the stone of the Tuwaiq mountains, The St. Regis Riyadh is resolutely modern in form, with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass and a spiral staircase rising through the lobby beneath sweeping chandeliers. The interiors take their mood from Italy's dolce vita: a calm neutral palette, sudden bursts of colour, soft lighting and commissioned artworks that nod to local heritage.
There are 83 rooms, 24 of them suites. The brand's butlers are central to a stay, unpacking and packing, pressing clothes, bringing drinks to the room and handling a morning service with newspapers and the day's weather. Afternoon tea is served daily in the Astor Library, and The St. Regis Spa spreads across more than 1,200 m².
Location
The hotel sits in Riyadh's Al Hada district beside the Diplomatic Quarter, among restaurants, designer boutiques and a cinema. Riyadh's international airport is about 45 km away; there is no hotel shuttle, and transfers are by private car on request. Around an hour's drive out of the city lies the Edge of the World viewpoint on the cliffs of the Tuwaiq mountains.
Spa
The St. Regis Spa covers more than 1,200 m², with eight treatment rooms and a spa suite, a thermal area with sauna, herbal steam room, snow shower, ice fountain, experience showers, Jacuzzi and heated loungers, and a relaxation room warmed by a fireplace. Treatments use AMRA products and begin with a personal consultation. Signatures include the Arabian Oud Escape and The 400 Journey, alongside diamond facials, gold body rituals, HydraFacial, Ayurvedic treatments, scrubs, wraps, couples' massages and eye and lip care.
Sports & leisure
The guests-only fitness centre is equipped by Technogym, including an Omnia functional station, with cardio and strength machines, free weights and a punch bag, and its windows look over a garden. The outdoor pool is on the roof, and the spa's thermal area is close at hand. For a day beyond the city, the hotel suggests the hike to the Edge of the World cliffs in the Tuwaiq mountains, best at sunrise or sunset.
Restaurants & bars
Three restaurants and bars, afternoon tea in the library and in-room dining around the clock.
- Jackie Restaurant — a brasserie serving American cooking with Mediterranean warmth, from breakfast until late evening
- Stella Sky Lounge — an open-air rooftop terrace by the pool with city views and a menu inspired by the zodiac, open in the evening
- The St. Regis Bar — a jazz-inspired bar framed by a large commissioned mural, with crafted drinks and light bites
- Astor Library — afternoon tea on bone china, with pastries, cakes, freshly baked scones and speciality coffee
Swimming
The outdoor pool is on the rooftop with panoramic city views, cushioned loungers and poolside service, while light dishes and drinks come from the adjoining Stella Sky Lounge through the day.
