General information
Le Toiny Hotel & Beach Club is a small hillside hotel above Toiny Bay, on the wild, quiet side of Saint-Barthélemy and well away from the island’s bustle. It occupies a protected 17-hectare palm grove, where 22 one- and two-bedroom suites are terraced into the slope and screened from one another by palms and flowering shrubs. The hotel is a member of Relais & Châteaux.
Each suite works as a villa of its own, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a broad terrace, a private heated pool and a view of the Caribbean Sea. Space, quiet and privacy set the tone, and service is personal without being intrusive. Down on the sand, the Beach Club has a restaurant, a pool and hammocks under the sea grapes, and it welcomes outside guests during the day as well.
Location
The hotel sits on a hillside above Toiny Bay, on the untamed eastern shore of Saint-Barthélemy and away from the island’s busier corners. The Beach Club lies at the foot of the slope, on a beach facing one of the island’s best surf breaks.
Spa
There is no spa building: treatments by harmony by Sense are given in the suite itself, beside the private pool to the sound of the waves or indoors with soft music, and the Beach Club has a treatment room of its own. Therapists are available daily from 9 am to 7 pm. The menu covers relaxing, deep-tissue, lymphatic and stress-relief massages, the Le Toiny Signature ritual of body scrub, massage and SPF 30 solar oil, facials, reiki and energy work, foot reflexology, and hand and foot care using Sense products.

For children
There is no kids’ club, but families are well looked after, with babysitting, cots, high chairs and a children’s menu. The Signature Family Suite takes one or two extra beds in the living room for children under 16, while the Two-Bedroom Villa and the Spirit & Duplex Pavilion suit larger families.
Restaurants & bars
Executive chef Eric Desbordes runs both restaurants. La Table, high on the hillside with a panorama of the ocean, opens for dinner with plates designed for sharing that pair Japanese precision with bright Latin American flavours. By day, guests head down to the Beach Club for Mediterranean cooking, dishes from the grill and cocktails from the bar. Every Thursday evening the Beach Club hosts the Beach Extravaganza, with à la carte dining, live music, lighting and fire shows; booking is essential.
Swimming
Every suite has its own heated pool on the terrace, 5.5–9 m long depending on the category. At the foot of the hill, the Beach Club’s private beach has sunbeds, loungers and hammocks in the shade of sea grapes, plus a further pool; the waves just offshore draw surfers.
Pets
Pets are welcome in every suite category.
Rooms
The hotel has 22 suites: one Junior Suite, 13 Signature Suites, seven Spirit Suites (three of them duplexes) and one two-bedroom villa. All have a heated private pool, a large terrace and a sea view (partial in the Junior Suite), and each comes with its own parking.
Each suite has high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a Sonos sound system, a Nespresso machine, a separate dressing room and Ortigia Sicilia toiletries.
Spirit & Duplex Pavilion
Two neighbouring suites – a single-level Spirit and a two-level Duplex – reached separately from a shared staircase, each with its own terrace and 3 × 5.5 m pool, plus four parking spaces. Two king-size beds; up to six guests, ideal for a family or two couples.
Two-Bedroom Villa
A villa of two pavilions around a terrace with a 3 × 9 m pool: the first has a living and dining room with kitchenette downstairs and a master bedroom with dressing room and sea-view balcony upstairs; the second holds another bedroom with its own bathroom. Up to five guests, with parking for two cars.
Signature Family Suite
A family version of the Signature Suite, with a sliding door between the parents’ bedroom and the living room, where one or two extra beds can be added for children under 16. Kitchenette, bathroom with tub and separate shower, and a terrace with a 3 × 6 m pool and sea view; up to four guests.
Signature Suite
A suite that feels like a private villa, its bedroom and living area divided by sliding partitions and opened to the Caribbean by full-height glass doors. Kitchenette, bathroom with tub, separate shower and double vanity, and a large terrace with a 3 × 6 m pool.
Duplex Spirit Suite
A two-level suite: an open-plan living room with kitchenette and dining area leads onto the terrace, its 3 × 5.5 m pool and views of Toiny Bay, while upstairs the bedroom has a dressing room, bathroom and a balcony over the ocean. Two parking spaces.
Spirit Suite
A single-level suite whose terrace runs from both the living room and the separate bedroom to a heated 3 × 5.5 m pool with ocean views. The bathroom, with tub and separate shower, looks onto the pool; up to three guests, two parking spaces.
Junior Suite
A suite with a living area and kitchenette, a king-size bed, a walk-in dressing room and a bathroom with tub and separate shower. A generous terrace with a 3 × 6 m pool and partial sea views; for two guests.
