About this hotel
General information
The St. Regis Doha sits on the Gulf shore in the West Bay business district, looking out over the sea, the district’s towers and neighbouring The Pearl island. It is a large city beach resort: 335 rooms and suites, a private sandy beach, an Olympic-size pool, a Guerlain Spa and a long line-up of restaurants and bars ranging from Cantonese to Mexican. Interiors pair neo-classical richness — blue carpets, silk drapery, marble bathrooms — with local touches.
Service in the St. Regis tradition is the core of the stay: a personal butler comes with every booking, ready to press a suit or run an errand at any hour, and the concierge works around the clock. For celebrations there are more than 4,000 m² of function space, including the 1,850 m² Grand Ballroom with natural daylight and a terrace over the Gulf, seating up to 1,800 guests. The resort suits couples, families and business travellers to Doha alike.
Location
The resort lies in West Bay on the shore of the Persian Gulf, next to The Pearl and Katara Cultural Village, with the Museum of Islamic Art, Souq Waqif, Msheireb and Lusail all within easy reach. Hamad International Airport is about 23 km away; the hotel runs no shuttle, but private cars with drivers and limousines are available on site. Self-parking and valet parking are complimentary for guests.
Spa
Guerlain Spa works with the Paris house’s products and offers two rituals created for this resort: The Pearl of Doha, a facial inspired by the Gulf’s pearls, and the Wave of Sand Experience, deep relaxation on warm quartz-sand tables scented with oud. The menu also covers the Tailor-Made Treatment, which begins with a consultation, a Black Orchid age-reversing ritual, an Abeille Royale repair treatment built on bee products, massages including couples’ sessions, body scrubs, eye treatments, paraffin hand care, scalp and hair treatments and services for men. Facilities include a steam room and a plunge pool; treatments are by appointment.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre is complimentary for guests and equipped with cardio and strength machines, free weights and a Smith machine; there is also an outdoor padel court. Jet skis run along the private beach, and private Vilebrequin cabanas with dedicated service can be booked by the pool. The concierge arranges a family desert safari to the south of Qatar: dune driving, the Khor Al Adaid inland sea and a desert camp with a barbecue, swimming, volleyball, table tennis, sandboarding, camel and quad-bike rides (children from four; booking 24 hours ahead is advised).
For children
The Kids Learning Center blends play with learning: drawing, themed lessons, music, outdoor time, interactive workshops and cooking sessions led by mentors; children stay accompanied by a parent, guardian or nanny. The Family Traditions programme offers shared activities and an introduction to Qatari culture, children’s menus are served at Vilebrequin La Plage, Vine and Astor Grill and in the rooms, and the butler can have cots, nappies and wipes ready before arrival.

The resort’s restaurants and bars span cuisines from Lebanese to Cantonese, and in-room dining runs around the clock.

- Astor Grill — steakhouse with aged meats, seafood and vegetarian plates, a wine list and cocktails with the St. Regis sabrage ritual
