About this hotel
General information
Our Habitas Ras Abrouq is a village of 48 villas on Qatar’s west coast at Ras Abrouq, set on the Persian Gulf at the edge of the UNESCO-protected Al-Reem Biosphere Reserve. Limestone dunes and outcrops, calm water and wide sunsets frame the setting. Every villa has its own pool and a generous deck, and the interiors — earthy tones, natural textures and pieces of local craft — offer a contemporary take on Qatari heritage.
The Our Habitas idea is connection, self-expression and play. A complimentary daily programme runs across six themes: art and culture, wellness, adventure, learning, food and drink, and music. Artists in residence live on site and share their work with guests, and the days follow the resort’s own rituals — a welcome ceremony, a sunset gathering with live local music and a weekly communal family dinner. The resort uses solar power and has done away with single-use plastic.
Location
The resort lies at Ras Abrouq on the Zekreet road near Dukhan, on the western shore of the Qatar peninsula. Doha is just over an hour away by car and Hamad International Airport about 90 minutes. The area sits off the beaten track and beyond the reach of standard navigation apps, so the resort’s own map and directions are the way in; private airport transfers can be arranged on request. Entry is limited to guests holding a villa, restaurant, day-pass or event reservation.
Spa
The wellness centre offers treatments and rituals that combine ancient healing traditions with modern technologies, aimed at restoring balance and vitality. On the wellness deck by the sea, sunset sound baths are paired with the resort’s signature elixirs.

For children
Families and groups of friends are steered towards the two- and three-bedroom villas — Zekreet, Qataf, Reem and Al Dhabi — with one or two private pools each, while the Lula Royal Villa sleeps up to eight.
Restaurants & bars
The main restaurant, Qissa (Arabic for “story”), brings together Qatari, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking, served family-style on sharing plates. An open coal and wood-fired grill sits at the heart of the kitchen, ingredients are handled with a light touch and sourced from local farms and fisheries, and the indoor room and terrace, seating 130, look out over the Gulf at sunset. On the sand by the water, the Beach Bar serves easy drinks and bites for sharing.
Swimming
The resort sits right on a sandy Persian Gulf beach. A large infinity pool framed by natural rock faces the sea, and every villa has a pool of its own. The Al Maha and Qataf villas open straight onto the beach, and the Lula Royal Villa has private beach access.

The 48 villas, with one to four bedrooms, sit steps from the water; each has one or more private plunge pools and a spacious outdoor deck, and many enjoy sea views and direct beach access.
