About this hotel
General information
Vila Vita Parc spreads across 22 hectares of subtropical parkland on the rocky Algarve coast: whitewashed buildings in an Algarvian-Moorish style, with arches, niches and tiled roofs, are scattered among palms and flowerbeds above a secluded sandy cove. A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, it combines the feel of a private estate with the facilities of a large five-star resort.
Accommodation is spread across several buildings — the Main Building, the Residence, Oasis Parc, the spa wing and the Vista Parc apartments — with private pool villas for larger parties. Food is central to the experience: more than a dozen restaurants and seven bars, including the gastronomic Ocean, a wine cellar of over 1,200 labels and produce from the resort’s own farm. Event spaces cover more than 1,100 m² and hold up to 350 guests.
Location
The resort lies on the Algarve coast between Porches (Lagoa municipality) and the resort town of Armação de Pêra, about 35 minutes by car from Faro airport.
Spa
Vila Vita Spa by Sisley Paris is finished in natural stone in the colours of the Atlantic, its design inspired by the sea caves along the coast. It has 14 treatment rooms offering Sisley’s phyto-aromatic face and body rituals, nutrition consultations and detox, fitness and relaxation programmes, plus a bright fitness studio for group and private sessions, including aerial yoga and meditation. The Health Club adds a heated indoor pool with an open-air section, an EnerGym gym and personal trainers, alongside a Reformer Studio and a La Biosthétique salon.
Sports & leisure
- Six pools, including a heated indoor pool, two children’s pools and an adults-only infinity pool by the Clubhouse overlooking the ocean and cliffs
- Clay and hard tennis courts with a coach certified by the Portuguese Tennis Federation; an indoor pickleball and padel centre, a multisport court, volleyball, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis and bicycles
- Golf: a nine-hole pitch and putt, an 18-hole putting green, a driving range, a golf simulator and a resident pro; the Faldo and O'Connor championship courses are 10 km away
- Sea Emotions: trips on three private yachts and a speedboat, plus jet skis, sailing and pedal boats at the beach club in summer
- Yoga, pilates, aqua aerobics and stretching, coastal cliff hikes, track experiences at the Algarve International Racetrack and tastings at the Herdade dos Grous wine estate
For children
Natalie’s Crèche looks after the youngest guests (1–3 years), while Annabella’s Kids Park, for ages 4–11, has an adventure playground with slides, swings and trampolines and a playroom for painting and baking. Teenagers aged 10–15 have the Teen’s Club with sports games and their own wellness programmes. The resort also has two children’s pools, an 18-hole mini-golf course, children’s menus and babysitting.
