General information
Pine Cliffs Hotel sits among pine woods and flowering gardens on top of the ochre-red cliffs that drop to the golden sands of Falésia beach and the Atlantic. Built in a Moorish-inspired style, it is the heart of the wider Pine Cliffs resort, with 217 rooms and suites whose balconies look out over the ocean, the cliffs or the gardens.
The hotel works equally well for couples and families. Guests share the whole resort: more than twenty restaurants, cafés and bars, the Serenity Spa, a nine-hole clifftop golf course, a tennis and padel academy and the Porto Pirata children’s village. For meetings and weddings there are 13 function rooms totalling 2,184 m², the largest of them, Salão Pinhal, holding up to 450 guests.
Location
The resort stands on the clifftop above Falésia beach in the municipality of Albufeira in the Algarve, about 7 km from Albufeira town and 32 km from Faro airport.
Spa
Serenity Spa offers massages, facials and body treatments, with signature rituals built on local ingredients such as Ria Formosa salt and sand from Falésia beach. Facilities include an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi, plus a hairdresser and barber. The Active by Serenity gym runs group classes and private yoga and pilates sessions.
Sports & leisure
The resort has eight outdoor pools with bars, an indoor pool in the spa and a nine-hole golf course on the cliff edge overlooking the ocean. The Annabel Croft Tennis and Padel Academy has four tennis and four padel courts and coaches every level; there is also a professional football centre and the Estima Sports kids’ football academy. Other options include a treetop adventure park, an escape room, tile-painting workshops, kayaking and paddleboarding from the beach, and boat trips on the Ria Formosa and to the Benagil cave.
For children
Porto Pirata, a 7,000 m² children’s village, welcomes children from six months to eight years, with two life-size wooden pirate ships, a basketball court and indoor and outdoor activities. Nearby are an 18-hole mini-golf course, the treetop adventure park and a kids’ football academy, and babysitting can be booked day and night.

Swimming
The hotel stands directly above Falésia beach, a wide stretch of sand beneath ochre cliffs about five minutes’ walk away. Resort guests get complimentary sun loungers on the beach, where the Maré restaurant and kayak and paddleboard hire are also found.

Duplex Suite
A two-level suite with a bedroom (queen or twin beds), a living room with sofa bed, a guest bathroom and a balcony with resort or ocean views. Sleeps two adults and two children under 12.
Neptuno Presidential Suite
The hotel’s largest suite: a bedroom with a queen bed and walk-in wardrobe, a living room with dining area, a guest bathroom and a balcony-terrace with panoramic ocean views. Sleeps two adults (plus an infant under two).
