About this hotel

General information

Hotel Verte is a 94-room boutique hotel set in two 18th-century palaces on Miodowa Street, a few steps from Castle Square and the Old Town. Its late-Baroque façade and historic interiors are paired with contemporary design: every room has a character of its own, and the made-to-measure furniture plays wood against textured fabrics and complementary materials.

Behind the gate on Podwale Street lies a shaded garden framed by old walls, one of the most pleasant open-air corners of the Old Town. Beside it stands Pawilon, a glass pavilion where breakfast is served looking out over the garden and the palace façades, while 18th-century brick vaults and a coffered-ceiling hall host receptions and meetings. The KUK restaurant gives Polish cooking a contemporary reading, and a spa with saunas and a gym round out a stay in the heart of historic Warsaw.

Location

The hotel stands on Miodowa Street in Warsaw’s Old Town, beside the Royal Castle, Castle Square and the National Theatre, with its entrance on Podwale Street. Warsaw Central Station is about 2 km away and Warsaw Chopin Airport about 10 km; a bus stop sits right outside and the nearest metro station is roughly a 10-minute walk. Taxis and private transfers are arranged at reception, and there is paid on-site parking with EV charging, which must be booked in advance.

Spa

Spa & Wellness Warsaw occupies quiet treatment rooms within the palace’s historic walls, with treatments run by Klinika La Perla. There are steam and dry saunas and a VIP room for couples. The menu covers facial rituals built on pearl, amber and gold, Kobido facial massage, classic relaxing, warm and sports massages, and the signature Ritual of the Polish Forest and The Magic of Amber, which draw on a bison-grass oil recipe; separate rituals are designed for men and for mothers-to-be.

Sports & leisure

The Verte Gym is equipped by Technogym: treadmills, bikes and cross-trainers with multimedia screens that pair with a phone, plus strength equipment, with workouts logged in a dedicated app. Personal trainers draw up an individual plan after a first consultation, and there are sessions for two as well as group classes, Pilates and strength training among them. Beyond the hotel, the Old Town, the Royal Route and the Vistula boulevards are all within walking distance.

Restaurants & bars

There are four places to eat and drink:

  • KUK — bistronomy that reinterprets Polish flavours: seasonal produce from across Poland served as small plates for sharing, in a warm room of wood and natural textures; lunch and dinner à la carte daily
  • Pawilon — the glass pavilion overlooking the garden and the palace: breakfast every day, with vegan and vegetarian choices, and brunch at weekends
  • Verte Garden — the garden restaurant behind the Podwale Street gate, open in season: classic Warsaw dishes such as zrazy given a modern touch, sharing plates, signature cocktails and wines, and a grill menu with live music on Fridays and Saturdays
  • Bar — an intimate bar with soft lighting and music for cocktails, wines, spirits and snacks at the end of the day
Pets

Dogs are warmly welcomed, up to two per room for an additional fee; pets must be declared when booking and travel with a health book showing current vaccinations. Other pets, such as cats, are accepted by prior arrangement. Four-legged guests receive a bed, food and water bowls and a toy, and the restaurant has a dedicated dog menu. Aggressive breeds are not accepted, pets stay on a lead in the hotel grounds, and the spa is off limits to them.
