About this hotel
General information
Mamaison Hotel Le Regina Warsaw is an intimate five-star hotel set in a historic palace in Warsaw’s New Town, a few steps from the UNESCO-listed Old Town. The surrounding lanes are quiet and dotted with old churches, and the hotel itself keeps to 61 rooms and apartments. Interiors lean towards French elegance: warm colours, Italian wood, hand-painted frescoes, marble and tall French windows.
Several rooms look onto a calm inner courtyard laid out with terraces and small gardens. The La Rotisserie restaurant serves international cooking with a clear Polish accent, room service runs around the clock, and a Roman-style spa offers a relaxation pool, a sauna and massages. The reception is staffed day and night and handles taxis, airport transfers, theatre tickets and restaurant bookings. For meetings and celebrations there are two conference rooms for up to 170 guests.
Location
The hotel stands at Kościelna 12 in the New Town, the historic quarter just beyond Warsaw’s Old Town. On foot it is around 300 m to the Multimedia Fountain Park and the Vistula boulevards, 500 m to the Old Town Market Place, 850 m to the Royal Castle and 1.5 km to the Grand Theatre. Warsaw Chopin Airport is about 14 km away and the main railway station about 5 km; an airport transfer by hotel car can be arranged in advance. A handful of parking spaces are available by arrangement with the reception.
Spa
The small Roman-style spa is a stylish space with a relaxation pool and a sauna, where guests unwind after a day in the city. Massages are tailored to each guest, and facial treatments include a peel.
Sports & leisure
The spa’s pool and sauna are the hotel’s own place to relax. Close by, the Vistula boulevards, with river beaches and gazebos, are made for walks and bike rides, and boat trips by motorboat or under sail set off from there; in the Multimedia Fountain Park, water, light and music shows play after dark in season. The reception can arrange theatre tickets, day trips by train and restaurant bookings.
Restaurants & bars
La Rotisserie is open daily for lunch and dinner, with an international menu carrying a distinct Polish accent and a setting that suits a romantic dinner as well as a business lunch. Breakfast is a buffet of fresh pastries, seasonal produce, hot dishes and lighter options, and dishes from the restaurant menu can be ordered to the room at any hour.
Swimming
The spa has an indoor relaxation pool, with a sauna alongside.
