General information
PARKROYAL Yangon is a large city hotel of the Pan Pacific group in Dagon, close to the centre of Yangon. Its interiors pair a calm contemporary look with warm hues and custom-made furniture, and in the evenings a traditional Myanmar xylophone and harp are played in the lobby. The hotel works as well for a business trip as for getting to know the city, with Shwedagon Pagoda, street markets and local restaurants only minutes away.
There are five restaurants and bars, from an international brasserie to Sichuan and Japanese kitchens, along with an outdoor pool on the third floor, a gym with sauna and steam room, and a spa. Ten venues host meetings and celebrations, the largest for up to 300 guests; a business centre and concierge team are on hand, and parking is complimentary for hotel guests.
Location
The hotel sits in Dagon, near the centre of Yangon: Shwedagon Pagoda is minutes away, and Sule Pagoda, the park by Kandawgyi Lake and Chinatown, with its street food on 19th Street, are all close by. Yangon International Airport is about 30 minutes by car; the concierge arranges an airport limousine, a rental car pick-up or a taxi.
Spa
The spa on the second floor is open from 10am to 11pm. Its menu covers traditional Myanmar thanaka massage, Thai massage, aromatherapy, tension-relief massage, natural body treatments and reflexology, with foot massages given either under the open sky or in the room. A sauna and steam room are part of the fitness centre.
Sports & leisure
The second-floor fitness centre is open from 6am to 11pm, with a fully equipped gym, aerobics, yoga and Zumba classes, table tennis and a personal trainer. Private swimming lessons with a coach are offered at the outdoor pool. For time in the city, the hotel points guests to Shwedagon Pagoda, the park by Kandawgyi Lake and Inya Lake, while evenings in the lobby bring live xylophone and harp music.

Dining spans several Asian kitchens and an international menu, and in-room dining runs around the clock.

Swimming
The outdoor pool is on the third floor and open from 6am to 8pm; private swimming lessons with a coach can be arranged.
Rooms
Rooms and suites are bright and spacious, finished in warm tones with custom-made furniture. The line-up runs through four 35 m² room categories, from the Superior Room to the PARKROYAL Club Room with club lounge access, plus two suites of 45 and 70 m².
Every room has air conditioning, a work desk with an ergonomic chair, a wardrobe, bathrobes and slippers, a hairdryer, a 40-inch TV with local and cable channels, a minibar, tea and coffee facilities, complimentary bottled water, a safe, an iron and board, free wired and wireless internet, and 24-hour in-room dining.
Superior Room
A city-view room with a king-size bed or two double beds, an executive desk and a large bathroom with a rain shower.
Deluxe Room
Large bay windows look over the pool and the city; a king-size bed or twin beds, a work area and nightly turndown. Sleeps up to three.
Premier Room
A room with refined furnishings and large windows over the pool and the city, with a king-size bed or twin beds. For two guests.
PARKROYAL Club Room
A city-view room with a marble bathroom and a king-size bed or twin beds, including PARKROYAL Club privileges such as breakfast in the club lounge. For two guests.
Junior Suite
An open-plan suite with a separate living area, a king-size bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub, and views of the pool and the city; PARKROYAL Club privileges included.
Executive Suite
A separate bedroom with a king-size bed and a living room with a dining table, a private balcony and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub; PARKROYAL Club privileges included.
