About this hotel
General information
Pan Pacific Yangon is a 25-storey tower in the city’s commercial heart, pairing downtown energy with views of the golden Shwedagon Pagoda and the Yangon River. Its 336 rooms and suites all have floor-to-ceiling windows, with the suites and the Pacific Club Lounge occupying the upper floors, the lounge itself on level 25.
A dedicated wellness floor holds an outdoor infinity pool with city views, the St. Gregory spa and a 24-hour gym. Dining centres on Saan, an all-day restaurant serving modern Myanmar and international dishes, the Cantonese Hai Tien Lo and The Teak Bar, a cocktail bar looking over the city and river. For sleep there is a pillow menu and the Happy Sleeper programme of baths, massages, drinks and guided meditation, and the hotel also has rooms for meetings and celebrations.
Location
The hotel stands in central Yangon, close to the old town and Chinatown, with Shwedagon Pagoda about 15 minutes away on foot. Yangon International Airport is roughly 30 minutes by car, depending on traffic and weather; the concierge arranges limousine transfers. Guests park free of charge.
Spa
St. Gregory sits on the hotel’s wellness floor and opens daily from 9am to 10pm. Its menu covers facials and tension-easing body treatments, alongside traditional massages and treatments.
Sports & leisure
The outdoor pool on the wellness floor combines a 22-metre lap section with a free-form area framed by tropical greenery; it is open daily from 7am to 8pm, with the Pool Bar serving from 10am to 7pm. The 24-hour gym looks out over the city and has cardio, weight and strength equipment, with towels provided.
Restaurants & bars
Two restaurants, two bars and a café-bakery make up the line-up, backed by round-the-clock in-room dining.
- Saan — all-day dining with city views: modern Myanmar, Asian and international cooking, a buffet and a range of beers and wines
- Hai Tien Lo — Cantonese cuisine with Singapore roots, premium teas, city and Yangon River views and private dining rooms
- The Teak Bar — signature cocktails, tapas, wine and draught beer over the city and river, at its best around sunset
- Pacific Marketplace — café and bakery with pastries, home-made cakes, chocolates and macarons
- Pool Bar — drinks by the pool
- In-room Dining — local and international dishes served in the room around the clock
Swimming
There is no beach; swimming is in the outdoor infinity pool on the wellness floor, which has a 22-metre lap section, a free-form area set among tropical plants and views across the city.
