General information
Meliá Yangon is a contemporary high-rise with boldly modern interiors on the shore of Inya Lake, in the Bahan district. It is designed as much for business trips as for leisure: rooms start at 48 m², and many windows look out over the lake or towards the Shwedagon Pagoda.
A hotel within the hotel, The Level floors have their own reception and a lounge on the 24th floor with views across the city. Conferences, banquets and weddings are served by eight event rooms covering 2,110 m² and holding up to 1,870 guests in all. An outdoor pool, the Laguna Wellness Center and five restaurants and bars mean there is little need to leave the hotel to unwind.
Location
The hotel stands in Bahan, just across the road from Inya Lake, with a covered walkway to the neighbouring Myanmar Plaza shopping centre. The Shwedagon Pagoda is about 5 km away, central Yangon 7 km and Yangon International Airport 10 km. The hotel arranges airport transfers, and guarded parking is available for guests arriving by car.
Spa
The Laguna Wellness Center is the hotel's spa, given over to restoring body and looks. The menu covers massages, geothermal massage among them, body scrubs and wraps, foot baths and beauty treatments, with a Jacuzzi for unwinding.
Sports & leisure
The gym, with city views, has weight and cardio equipment, including treadmills, elliptical trainers, exercise bikes and a rowing machine, plus a punch bag, ropes, free weights, Pilates balls and mats. Yoga, Zumba and cardio classes complete the programme. For downtime there is billiards and table tennis. The shores of Inya Lake opposite the hotel have paths for morning runs, and a floating golf driving range lies nearby.
For children
For children, the hotel offers activities, a playground and a separate children's pool with pool toys.
Restaurants & bars
The hotel has five restaurants and bars, along with 24-hour room service and a pool bar.

Swimming
The outdoor pool is set within a sunbathing area with loungers and umbrellas; towels are provided, a lifeguard is on duty and a pool bar sits alongside. The youngest guests have a separate children's pool.

Rooms and suites range from 48 to 414 m² and face either the city or Inya Lake; The Level categories add access to the 24th-floor lounge with a private breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks, a separate reception, nightly turndown and a pillow menu. Standard rooms are sold room-only or with breakfast, while The Level categories include breakfast.
Every room has feather pillows, bathrobes and slippers, quality toiletries, a flat-screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
Deluxe
